I accidentally washed my bits with hand wash today. Worried that will cause BV.

Lol, nobody can know cos everybody is different. I wouldn't worry too much though if it was just a one off.

I'm sure it'll be fine.   Could be worse, you could have used original source minty one!   :o

Generally, the ingredients in hand wash will be very similar to shower gel, and bubble bath and even shampoo. Unless you are very sensitive I can't see there being a problem. Now if you had mistakenly used Deep Heat, or drain cleaner then you may have an issue  :D

You'll be fine. Sometimes I say to myself that long time ago women had just one simple soap for everything and they were just fine, weren't they?

Lots of them weren't fine though - they just were forbidden from mentioning their itchy vaginas to anyone!

OP if you're prone to BV or thrush when using scented products on your vulva then maybe use a BV Activ pessary tonight or some of the BV Active Gel?

If it is bothering you then yes use a balance activ for a couple of nights as a preventative.

If you get BV once then the gels are okay to use, but if it comes again then you must get the antibiotics from the doctor to clear it up otherwise it will keep coming back every week.

I kept washing my vagina always before and after having sex  ;)
... never any problem, but from woman to woman everything changes.
