Definitely depends on whether your having a surgical or medical abortion. I've had two medical abortions in the past, both at around 5/6 weeks pregnant. I bled for around a week then was spotting on and off for the next couple of weeks after that. I can't say how you'd find it mentally because everyone copes and reacts with things in different ways. Personally, I was fine with it. It isn't a nice situation to be in at all but I didn't get myself too upset and worked up about it. I wasn't escorting at the time of these abortions but after the bleeding / spotting had stopped if it was now, I could happily go back to escorting straight away. I didn't get any other side effects other than the bleeding and the only pain I had was the initial pain when it all "starts" to happen a few hours after you take the pill but they give you painkillers (usually codeine for that) and for me the pain didn't last that long.

In regards to surgical, I only personally know one girl who had a surgical abortion. I'm not sure how far along she was but I remember her having a lot of pain afterwards for a week or so after it.

I had an abortion and I went into a deep depression afterwards that took me by surprise even though I was like you in that I was sure of my decision. Take care of your mental well being as much as the physical xx

hey i had to have an abortion last wednesday just over a week i think.. i had the tablet method ( had complications during it ) first few days i bled heavily but i didn't fancy being off work for up to 4 weeks so after 5 days i still offered bookings  but just oral etc or dinner dates and so far its worked... I'm tempted to go back to work properly as now its been over a week and the bleedings more ir less stopped.. depends how your body feels after but avoid any sort or ex just to give your body time to heal for even two weeks maybe xx

When I had a surgical abortion I was back to having sex about 4 weeks later when all the bleeding had stopped (can be anything from 2-8 weeks). You can't even use tampons at this point so it's worth taking seriously as you don't want long term complications. As lots of other posts say maybe offer non full services or consider webcam, phone chat.

Could have perfectly been a hormonal imbalance situation shewolf. Something similar to a post-partum depression.
Mornings were made for sleeping, wild sex and bacon.

Yes, sounds more like that as I had post natal depression after my child was born and when I was pregnant I had horrendous mood swings so I think my hormones are iffy. Having an abortion won't necessarily send you into depression xx
