I have been asked by a client for full size copies of my profile photographs for free. I'm not sure this is a good idea and whether my client was taking advantage. I will never pass on a full image in any case. Images will always be cropped and raw and jpeg originals retained to prove ownership if the client fraudulently claims ownership. The reason is a client cannot fake information which isn't in their copy.

I know a little of how professional photographers manage things. My best understanding is the person taking the picture is the person who owns the copyright unless a contract exists specifying the escort is employing the client as a photographer on a 'work for hire' basis. It doesn't matter who owns the camera but who presses the button. The escort retains artists rights and can ban distribution if the client misrepresents the escort or uses the escorts images in a way which violates the escorts rights. Maybe a professional photographer can explain this?

If they are from your AW profile, don't do it. You've got no control once he has the files and if he shares them on the internet, it's a breach of the AW terms of use - and you'd be the one losing your account, not him!
