Some people don't want to see clients of certain races or nationalities, some don't want clients under or over certain ages, some won't entertain disabled clients. It's your business, you do what you're comfortable with.

I have rules and regulations on who I will and won't see and I always stick to them.     I know of women who have had very bad experiences and because of that I always stick to my rules and regulations.    The agency I work for know who I will see and they always stick to that - it makes me feel so much safer, that my wishes are being adhered to and that I am in control of the situation.     That way I know that I am giving the very best experience possible.

Everyone has to do what they feel comfortable doing otherwise the experience is spoilt for both client and WG.

Any lady that doesn't see a gentleman, based solely on the colour of their skin is discrimination. Doesn't matter which way you look at it. To deprive one gentleman of ethnic minority, based on the behaviour of others in his race, is discriminatory. By the example given above, I should stop seeing caucasian gents based on a couple of idiots I've encountered in the past. But I won't do that because a) it wouldn't be economically viable for me as most of my customers are caucasian and b) I wouldn't stop seeing a whole race based on the bad behaviour of a few.

But saying that, it doesn't mean that I'm unsympathetic to those who don't see gents because they'd feel they're uncomfortable. It is a very intimate occupation after all. I know there are black escorts who won't see black gentlemen for their own various reasons. Same goes for Indian escorts. At the end of the day, we do what makes us happy. And it would be preferable for escorts to be upfront about their preferences on their websites, rather than lead Black/Asian/Oriental gentlemen a merry dance beforehand.

As it goes one of the rules I have is that I do not see anyone under 30.    I am happy to see gentlemen who are of any ethnic background as long as they are respectful,  over 30 and clean.   Those are my rules and I stick by them.

I understand what you are saying with regards discrimination and I understand that stating who you will see and who you won't see is like opening a hornets nest (which I wasn't looking to do).      I do not agree with WG's messing clients around or not stating what they do or do not do before meeting but if you do have rules and regulations then no misunderstandings will occur or shouldn't occur.

I hope that I have not offended Brandie because that was most certainly not my intention.   I was just airing my views.

Discrimination isn't necessarily a bad thing, seeing any client who calls is a bad plan so we all need to discriminate, but I do feel uncomfortable seeing discrimination based on race or disability. My comfort isn't what matters in this case though, I agree that in this business we have to be able to make that kind of choice, for our own sake's and our clients'.

Yes, there's someone who I otherwise have a great respect for who has 'no x, y, or z clients' rules.

Having heard some of the stories, I can understand why they do it, but it still makes me a bit uncomfortable and I'd be happier with something like 'x, y and z clients have to make an extra effort to prove they're not assholes like some others in those categories, sorry'.

But ultimately it comes back to the same thought that everyone has their own boundaries, even if other people don't agree with them.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

No problem at all Georgi, honestly. It's an age old discussion that's done the rounds a few times in the past few years. It does tick me off when escorts deny they're discriminating against race when they so clearly are. I'm not sure what else you could call it.
XW5 and Anika Mae have it spot on for me. We all have to discriminate at one time or another, no lady should see anybody they know they wouldn't feel comfortable with, regardless of their creed or colour. But be upfront and call it what it is. I'd respect that more.
