ok here's an example of the stupidity you get. I just had someone reply to an ad of mine. Apparently they didnt get that I was an escort....The conversation started off with a sexual inquirie for the 1st minute, then when I mentioned the fee, he says he "didnt know I was a slutty whore looking for cash"... ::)

So Im normally if I was to do it with you for free, but Im a slutty whore if I dont  ???   >:(

Next time anybody that's enough of an arsehole to make such a comment, tell them "No, I'm a businessman answering to your enquiry for sex."
What a nasty thing to say.

You can say that again! I had told him, "you should of read the profile". He struck back twice...and I had to ignore the 3rd time. He had already given me the address pre-maturely, I could have came by and started a scene!

(I had posted a link to another topic on the wrong topic)

What a horrible guy! He obviously knew you were an escort and just wanted to make someones day miserable!

On the same topic of being freaked out I just got a call from someone who said they got my number from a taxi driver, I have never ever told a taxi driver im an escort, although maybe its obvious, but also why would the taxi driver have my number stored on his phone because he had a suspicion I might be an escort? Also I have never met a client who is a taxi driver. Weird! Anyway I think im going to have to calm down and stop panicking everytime this happens lol

I was in a small cafe today and there were 3men (all a bit grotty to be honest)  they all started talking about Thai prostitutes and then one of them who had just come back from thailand wrote down the name of a club and the name of a specific girl for one of the other blokes.  These guys all came in seperately and they didnt sound like the knew each other so i wouldnt be suprised if a cab driver did give your number to someone.  The cabbie might just have your number stored so he can call some time when hes out and about and got some time on his hands.  I couldnt believe 3 strangers were happy to stand about discussing prostitutes in Thailand like they were discussing the weather!  I stuck around to earwig though, it was quite funny and they were all being nice.  I should have given them all my number and told them they dont have to go that far for a good time really  ;)

haha thats funny, Ive never heard anyone casually talking about it like that! I guess that would be a reasonable explanation, although I didnt realize the fact im an escort was that obvious! perhaps I had asked that taxi driver to come back in an hour or something lol?! x

No i didnt mean its a cabbie who took you home sometime.  I mean he has probably logged on at home, seen your site or profile somewhere and taken the details down.  I'm not suggesting you have escort written all over you!  Or maybe you do??  I dunno but my money is on him having seen you online.  ;D

Hope you are feeling a bit calmer about this now Amber :/ Some men will blag their way on the phone just to freak you out so they can have a little power trip. Mainly because they want you and can't afford to spend time with you. Idiots.

But you said they were grotty? Were they construction worker grotty, or soccer player grotty  ???

I wouldn't worry about that, I've had plenty of that type and they were all timewasters wanting to get their jollies off by messing me around.
I've had the - a friend recommended you and gave me your number -that was when I started and before I had even seen my first client.

-I got your number of the DJ at xxxx, a local club I never go to and deffo no one knows I'm an escort

-Your number was in the local paper -Nice of the papers to print an ad unbeknownst to me and free of charge

- my colleague saw your ad, knew I would like you and texted me your number

All a load of BS and often a ploy to get you to go into detail about your looks and services, as they only have your number and not your site address - so don't stress, lol, you'll get used to it.

The ploy is they pretend to not have seen your site and that all they have is your number, so they can ask you to go into detail. And if you're naive or new enough, you fall for it.

I had some guy email me last week, telling me he wanted me to come to Austin in Texas for a few days (a sweetner obviously), but wanted to know more of my services. I invited him to read my reviews, which could be found on my site. He wrote back and said he couldn't "access that page". Which is a load of bollocks because coincidentally I had just been on that page earlier in the day, so I know everything was in working order. He then added me to MSN "so we could chat more about the finer details". That's the death knell to me, adding me to MSN. I know for sure you're a timewaster then.

It's amazing. Some guys are like kids. They think they've thought up the "I can't access your site/pics/details" excuse first and that we've never heard of it. Or the "a friend gave me your number, can I have some more details please". Mind you, that did happen to me once, it was a genuine guy who's friend I had apparently seen before. But the difference with him is that he didn't ask me for details or a description, he just made a booking.

Back on topic, I had somebody email me and tell me that he'd seen me about in my local shopping centre. He named it so I knew he was local. This was years ago when I showed my face, and it did freak me out a little. But I brazened it out and didn't either deny or confirm it. Never heard from him since.

"oh my goodness, oh my goodness", is what I exclaimed when I read this. Ugh, I just had 2 men add me to their yahoo contacts this week. In fact, someone was supposed to have flown in last night and be calling for a booking in about 4 hours from now. Well he didnt call me last night  ??? And also another person who I think may be legit is also flying in later today and added me to his contacts, what am I going to do?

If they turn out to both be fakes, Im declining every invitation to an add. Shit, I didnt even invite them to add me in the 1st place  >:(
