Some guy asked me if he could see me for 30 mins (even though I don't offer that) as he wants to see if I am genuine etc before he books regularly for longer.

Is he just a tight wad?  ???

No, I think a lot of men do that (and are recommended to do so by other punters). Unless they struggle to come, or just prefer a more relaxed booking, many men like half hours.

I wouldn't call anybody prepared to spend 60, 70, 80 quid (or whatever) on something that's only going to last half an hour a 'tightwad' - the last time I forked out this sort of cash on something I couldn't physically take home and keep I got a three day film festival including a live music event and a quiz, plus a goodie bag :D.

But whilst I agree with Kay about many punters liking half hours, the above is 1: asking for a service you don't offer, and 2: the age old bollocks about how he'll be a regular and book loads and spend a fortune, honest - provided you do '1') ::)  The whoring gods have taught us many times that people who do this are generally full of shit.

Depends who wants the 30 min or the 1 hr.
With some half hour is absolutely more than enough. ;D
I earn more with 2 half hours than I do in 1 hour though but I have a break in between every client anyway, so financially hour bookings are better for me really.

Had four 30mins yesterday. Getting more & more piss takers with it too though so starting to annoy me. Managing to get them out on time, finding I'm having to count them down so they now to hurry up.
