I dont feel like I can state on my profile that I dont see asian men as this just makes me look like a racist fool. My heart does sink when I see anyone who isnt white at my door though, especially if their profile name has been John Brown and they introduce themselves face to face as Mohammed Ali.

They do this to try to combat racism, obviously; I'll quite often get an email that's signed "Al" or something via my contact form, but once I respond to his given email address and then his response is from his own email service, it shows that his full name is perhaps of Indian origin or whatever.

The thing that I would ask is: Why are they at your door without you knowing anything about them? If you've spoken on the phone and he sounds completely lovely then you know, whether or not there's an accent or an Asian/white/black/Chinese/anything name, that he's probably going to be a really nice client. And even if he turns out to be a white English John Smith bloke, you still need to be sure that he doesn't sound like a rude titface on the phone before meeting him.

As I've probably said above, I only judge potential clients by their manner and their ability to communicate effectively, politely and respectfully. This means I (touch wood!) weed out the idiots and weirdos, who are of a variety of races just as the lovely guys are. So basically, I don't really worry about being racist because I know that my screening is just for respectfulness. Are people actually taking text/email bookings without taking a confirmation phone call too? Or accepting bookings even if the phone call is from someone who sounds rude or disrespectful? I just can't think why you'd need to put anything on your profile about your restrictions for anything except "Be polite and follow my booking procedure respectfully or I won't see you. The end."

Unless you've got on-site security and/or work in a parlour, you really need to know exactly who you're meeting well before he's at the door.

Oh god taking a phone call before  a booking is an absolute MUST so I'm with you there Emily.
In my experiences, most of the asian clients I had all had London accents so it was impossible to tell their race over the phone or by email. They would usually always give names like John Smith too because they are probably aware that a lot of white girls might turn their bookings down if they get wind of their colour (which Is a shame, but also rather sneaky).

I never take a booking with someone who comes across as rude over the phone. If they ask tedious questions that I have already covered on my profile then I get mightely pissed off too and usually tell them where to go.

Maybe I'm just unlucky but I get quite a few clients who can seem charming and lovely on the phone, and also when I meet them too (to begin with) but during the actual sex act they can become dominant and start saying things like "Can I cum in your mouth" or "Do you do bareback" even though I make it crystal clear on my profile that I dont do these things.

I wish members of AW all had to have profiles that included a photo of themselves (not so I can pick the George Clooneys from the Jonny Vegas's but so I can just have a faint indication of who they really are).
I know this will never ever happen though as it would put most men off from joining and would end up being a big complicated mess.

I've had just as much good or bad behaviour from british caucasions, as from anyone from any other background and rich or poor.

The only thing that would cause a problem would be a language barrier that makes giving directions difficult. Could cause problems for both parties in several areas.

I'm currently thinking about restricting by age rather than race, since I really seem to struggle with clients under the age of 21. They usually struggle with the fees, and really can be loose cannons at times. Just not sure how to put it across!
