15 min quickies. Are they worth doing?
« on: 02 December 2013, 11:24:46 pm »
I suspect that 15-minute appointments would be more hassle than they are worth. If I'm ?60 for 1/2, I assume they want to pay ?30. But they're going to take longer than 15 minutes. There's all the texting and the directions and buzzing in and they're always fucking late (can't find parking or traffic is crap) and how do you really say "OK! Time's up buddy! Out!"

If they were literally in an orderly queue outside the bedroom door I would consider it. But I just know it would somehow still eat an hour of my day just getting them in and out.

I don't want to mess up my hair for ?30...

So when someone asks "how much for 15 mins?" I quote them the same price as a half hour and say they can leave whenever they like... within 30 minutes.

Does anybody have positive quickie experiences?

I don't do quickies mainly cause I don't want that sort of traffic in and out my building not to mention some of the idiots 15 minute appointments attract. Don't get me wrong, they aren't all idiots but the decent ones a few and far between.

All that aside whether its a 15 minute appointment or an hour long appointment, the client expects to see the girl in my pictures (rightly so) but I don't look like that naturally so I make the effort with hair and make-up so it would take me 4 times the time to get prepared so its just not worth it for me.

Not to mention the fact that I wouldn't even flash my arse for ?30 but that's just me.

So yeah IMO much more hassle than they are worth.

I met a girl in Surrey once at 2am who was on her 32nd client (she was touring as well)  :o I said how the feck is that even possible? She said that she does millions of 15 minute appointments so I am assuming she has a que outside lol  :o

My vagina would fall off it it got banged that many times in a month never mind a day  :(

I wear pretty much the same make-up and lingerie for my photos as I do my bookings, and that takes around 15 minutes to put on if I'm already showered, my hair takes 2 minutes to brush or put in a clip.

What I found with shorter appointments either 30 minutes or the occasional trial quickie was that as already posted the amount of faffing, people being late, requiring numerous texts, chopping, changing, not willing to make a phone call, then pushing the time and resisting leaving on time was so high it made them just not worth the hassle. Given that the basis and majority of my business is 1 hour plus appointments it didn't make sense to carry on with something that involved more hassle and less return (the few shorter appointments were getting in the way of the longer bookings), so I made my minimum booking 45 minutes which works very well.

Some SPs do make quickies a speciality and I assume that they have a system in place for 15 minute appointments.

I don't do quickies either just as i like to keep traffic low in a hotel.

But if you are charging ?60 half hour, i would charge ?45/ ?50 for a quickie not ?30. Might push the client to take half hour instead. I certainly wouldn't do it for ?30, you will seriously attract all the wrong clients and if you're charging ?30 for quickies, it might put other  decent clients off. Many clients still view girls that charge cheap rate as the sterotypes like  "desperate" or "junkies".

I really think dropping your rates too low would result in attracting more lets say undesirable clients trying to get half hour for ?30, pushing their luck on 15 min quickies and also effect longer 1 hour bookings. You would probably get less of the longer 1 hour bookings.

Of course it's your body and your choice so you can charge what you see fit but that's just my personal opinion.

I began working in parlour when i was younger and the price in Swansea was ?35 for basic service. You made your money through extras like owo ?30 and RO was ?20 etc.  So you could usually get around ?50  - ?70 a punter. The parlour ran a special offer for 2 months Jan & Feb for ?25 and it did increase business for like a month then died down. But it really got a bad rep on all the forums, loads of comments about how all the girls are desperate junkies etc doing it for ?25. Also once the prices had dropped had all the skanks coming in, trying to get all the extras included for ?25 and refused to pay ?30 for owo etc. The parlour never recovered after the price drop and we lost some of our good paying regulars when the prices dropped. Really strange you would think the clients would come in more often with lower prices!

Dropping prices and doing quickies is not always good for your reputation (in my opinion/experience anyway).

I agree Saturn. I think my prices are OK for my area but could be higher and I am probably going to bump them up a tiny bit. I don't think it will hurt business to do so. (Currently ?100 an hour, ?60 a half hour... I don't' think 120/80 would be a problem.)

If you ever look,  you'll see that Channel perfumes are never, ever sold at a discount. Anywhere. They're adamant about this - and retailers who stock them must agree to never discount the brand. It doesn't seem to hurt them in any way!

I have been tempted to offer a cheaper rate for anyone who sees me at 10am because I have yet to see anyone before 11:30 and it seems that everyone is desperate to see me on their lunch hour. I'd love to encourage someone to show up a bit earlier... But I know it would only give them the idea that what I'm selling is really only worth X amount and they'll then balk at the higher regular prices.

I suspect you might want to edit this ;)

No. You've already pointed out the error so what would be the point?

I also can never remember if it's dessert/desert!

That depends entirely on what it tastes of.

Yeah, but it's late. Probably best to get back on topic before anybody falls asleep :).

Hahahahaha yes it is late, I am sticking with that excuse rather that admit I am a dumbass. I suppose that's why I am an escort and not a brain surgeon.

And just before anyone corrects me..............I know not all escorts are dumbasses!

Nite folks  :-*

Client behaviour isn't necessarily linked to the prices they are willing or able to pay.

Oh and these days you can Googling individual words usually brings links to correct spellings and dictionary definitions in the results  ;)

I don'particularly like to offer it as its more hassle than what its worth they don't quite get it a quickie is what it says. I only have one and it takes him longer to get undressed and then dressed than the actual session. After he sat on my sofa and said he was tired after his long journey and I said sorry but I am expecting someone soon you will have togo to the cafe and chill.lol I charge 50 so never charge too low or you may get quite a few idiots through the door.
