1 hour bookings
« on: 23 March 2015, 04:30:58 pm »
I'm considering offering 1 hour bookings only so would appreciate any views on this, I just find anything more so tiring and boring now and I don't want that to reflect in my service, do you think it's a bad idea? X

Hey,

Funny you say this.
At first I was focusing on longer bookings, 2 or 3 hours.
Now I accept only if I really get the feeling that I click with the client. Otherwise just no way.
As you say 2 hours is awfully long to go. While I have clients booking 2 hours because they expect the booking to include different things: drink, conversation, massage, good laugh, all this being nicely and smoothly running one after another and into each other, I also had guys arrive, sit down, look at me and...wait:(((

It's all about interaction and it takes 2 to tango. We are getting paid for sex and to entertain but if the other part isn't responsive then honestly at one point we aren't miracle workers.

I really rely on my feeling and get them to talk a bit on the phone. If the guy is a bit like me, easy peasy, flirtatious and responsive to my personality over the phone then yes I'll consider a longer booking. If not then it just doesn't make sense because itll be a nightmare. A couple of months ago I had a client whom I had to give a leg massage for the remaining hour!!!!!! I suggested a refund etc but because he booked 2 hours he wouldn't leave earlier so it was just awful!

So yes longer bookings are a bit tricky. They are better money obviously but they require more investment.

Thank Charlotte, the thing is I only do more than an hour with clients I know well, but even with them I just find it drags now, I know what you mean about the ones that just look at you and wait! Also 2 separate 1 hour jobs pays more and are easier to deal with!

I don't offer half hour bookings, my minimum booking length is 1 hour and maximum of 2 hours with a new client so I guess I'm the opposite, I enjoy the longer bookings as I really don't like the wham bam types as I find them so impersonal but that's just me x

I adore half hour bookings, 4 or 5 of those a day would be my dream, also Helen if your clients ask for longer than 1 hour does it put them off when you refuse or do they still book? X

Sometimes you just want to be able to speak to someone who gets it. I'm available for in-person sessions in Edinburgh or online

I only have half hour and one hour bookings advertised on my profile, if I do get clients asking about longer I just tell them I don't do them 9 times out of 10 they book the hour anyway.

2 separate 1hr will pay more but it's 2 showers, make up check etc. And you need to get them nicely fit one after another lol.

Well see Nia it's because there's no novelty. So the "spark", attraction etc kind of wears out. It's a bit of routine. I kind of find it more and more difficult with regulars precisely because I got a few I know exactly everything about so at one point there's nothing new left to chat about. His daughter's latest dissertation... Awesome:(((

Maybe don't refuse? Ok Helen should reply but maybe suggest one hour with option to extend?

Oh god yes the updates on their families and latest hospital appointments! I agree regulars are harder than new guys, I think the novelty of all clients wore off years ago but I still want to give them their money's worth and if I'm bored or grumpy they won't get that x

Clients seem to love the half hours I call them my pick'n'mixers they are good value and so they can afford to come more often. I would rather see a half hourer twice a month than a one hourer once a month its financally better for me too. I would say my ratio of half hour bookings compared to my one hour ones is about 5 to 1 in favour of half hours.

Personally I don't extend its a one hour maxium take it or leave it and most times they take it.

I just can't seem to tolerate anyone for more than an hour, the money is of course a factor and 1 hour jobs are easier for seeing more clients without being jaded, I did 3 hours last Friday with a client was finished by 3pm but went home because I felt so drained x

I always try to keep up to date on topics that might interest them. Ok since they are mostly lawyers or work in finance its just reading newspapers lol. But just try to memorise something they are interested in and that might be worth a try. Also movies are a good topic, I see mostly older gents so we chat a lot about movies. The moment I see the client gets animated I know I hit the right spot. Get them to chat.  Not too much because it's not what I get paid for lol. Chat/laughter/cuddle etc Some also like a moment of quiet because what they want is a presence of a woman next to them, not necessarily constant action.

But once again it takes 2 to tango and holly crap you can jump on the bed and if the client doesn't react then he should go home lol
