Firstly, thanks for reading this.

I'm a junior writer at the Independent looking to speak to students who are presently working in the sex industry. I understand that you all probably receive many requests from media people so I'll keep this brief.

I'm a writer on the student desk, so our target demographic are students - hence the seemingly obvious angle of the piece. Furthermore, there is a report due out late October/November by the Student Sex Work Project (http://www.thestudentsexworkproject.co.uk/) that is presently collating data on the subject from (according to the researchers I spoke to) around 6000 students. So my interest may be the first you'll receive as this report comes out - sorry. I have no axe to grind with this piece - in all honesty I am approaching it in much the same way I would when profiling social workers or other interesting jobs - and would seek to talk to one or more people (to save you time I can send anyone who is interested a full list of questions).

All interviews can/will be done under full anonymity and by email, phone, or however is convenient.
