This survey is funded by the Wellcome Trust in association with National Ugly Mugs and managed by Dr Teela Sanders at the University of Leeds. The purpose of the survey is to gather detailed information about the NUM membership in order to provide a better service and advocate for their needs, particularly in relation to safety and work satisfaction. We hope to get a real picture of working conditions for sex workers in the UK in order to identify current issues and to dispel common stereotypes and media portrayals. We strongly believe that sex work is work and should be treated as a labour issue under the same remit as other professions. To this end, we have based our questions on quality of work questionnaires which are asked of other workers with some added questions which specifically focus on sex work as a type of labour.
The design of the project has been given approval from the Research Ethics Committee at the University of Leeds. We thank you very much for taking an interest in this research and want to assure you of how the data when you click on the link.
The more respondents this gets the better, so do fill it in if you can :).

Done. I do hope it's fruitful. I especially suggested panic buttons on working premises and to be allowed to work with another sex worker.
