another anti prostitution article, and i'm amazed to point out that it appeared on my fb feed through a progressive channel 'Ocupy News Network' with the subject reading:
'Research by Farley has found that men’s acceptance of prostitution helps to encourage and justify violence against women; DA research reached a similar conclusion. When men feel entitled to rent the inside of a woman’s body for one-sided sexual pleasure knowing that she is consenting because of the cash, it is no wonder that these men consider women to be subservient to them—an attitude that breeds contempt.'
The article goes as far as stating that 'prostitution is rape'
can anyone help me lecture this lot on sex worker rights?

Lecturing other adults doesn't work - I'm sure we're all thrilled when we're told all about how we think, feel and behave by random folk. Farley has been a running joke for years and her biased.research funded largely by abolitionist and anti-prostitution groups means even the American Psychiatric Association think so. Some obscure internet rag agreeing with her isn't worth your time.
Pick your battles, and maybe put the kettle.on instead :)
