I am an MSc student from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). As a part of my MSc thesis, I am conducting a research to understand the building based female sex workers’ (both cisgender and transgender) health needs, barriers, and facilitators in accessing healthcare services. We will use findings from the survey to generate recommendations for intervention strategies to improve health outcomes for building-based female sex workers.
HowIt is an online survey which will take around 15 minutes and you can answer it on your mobile phone. The survey is totally anonymized and we will not ask your personal information such as name, address or phone number.
WhoYou can participate in the survey if you are
• over 18 years of age
• identify yourself as female (applied to both cisgender and transgender women)
• work within indoor environment or building-based sex work sector (eg. flats, saunas, escort agencies, clubs, parlours, etc.) all or some of the time and based in London
You can participate in the survey by clicking the link
https://forms.gle/CrXeP6At6tNNY71XA. The link will first direct you to the information sheet and you can consent to participate in the survey only if you are satisfied with the information provided.
While no material incentives will be offered for participation, you are encouraged to take part as this will give us a useful information in understanding your experiences accessing healthcare services.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to share it with friends or colleagues who you think have important experiences to share.
