Hi Folks,

As  part of  research to inform the services of the Red Project (which offers support, information and advice to women sex workers in Birmingham and Solihull affected by sexual violence) we are looking for people to take part in a short research interview. We are doing a small number of confidential telephone/Skype interviews. If you are interested in taking part, please email Rosie Campbell on rosiecampbelluk@gmail.com or message me via SAAFE. The interviews will take approximately 30 minutes and a Love2Shop online voucher of £40 is offered to each participant.

Also our short online survey is still open so you can also help us by completing that: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/0FJDDS/. We want to know your views on what kind of services you would like to see and how the Red Project should promote these. It should take you no more than 5 minutes and is completely anonymous and confidential.

To say ‘thank you’ for participating in the survey, we are offering the option to take part in a prize draw, with a first prize of a Love2Shop online voucher worth £100 and 5 runner up prizes of vouchers worth £50 each. Thanks to those who have already completed the survey.

The research is funded by the Feminist Review Trust, which has approved the ethical statement for the study. You can find further information on the Red Project website (https://theredproject.co.uk/). If you have any questions about the research, please contact one of the two independent researchers carrying out the study: Jane Pitcher on pitcherjane02@gmail.com, or Rosie Campbell on rosiecampbelluk@gmail.com. Jane and Rosie have many years’ experience of doing research with sex workers and recently worked together on the Beyond the Gaze study (https://www.beyond-the-gaze.com/).

Best wishes and hope to hear from some of you.

Rosie Campbell
