Research about experiences of working moms
« on: 29 July 2021, 09:08:57 pm »
Hello!
I am Amelia, a doctoral student in the Sociology Department at Kent State University. I am hoping to interview folks who are sex workers and mothers. The goal of this research project is to understand how you navigate your work and parenting simultaneously.

Participants will receive a $25.00 Amazon gift card for participation.

Participants must be mothers who are at least 18 years old, live in the United States, and have been employed in the sex industry within the past 5 years.

If you are interested in participating or would like to know more, you can read the full study description here https://swmstudy.com/. Also, if you know someone or a group who would be interested please share this post or the study's website with them!

Thanks,
Amelia

Hiya,

This sounds really great. Motherhood and sex work is really under researched (for lots and lots of reasons). I'm not a mum so I can't help, but sex work and motherhood is a huge part of the English Collective of Prostitute's campaign for safety so they may be worth getting in touch with (if you're not already)
