Press enquiry
« on: 08 March 2011, 03:42:04 pm »
Hi everyone. I'm a trainee journalist with the Press Association. You might be slightly wary of the press -  and probably with very good reason - but I was wondering if were some way we could work together to draw greater, positive attention to what you do, to raise some important issues and get some personal stories/experiences.

My principal  'patch' as a reporter is Kensington & Chelsea, so I'm particularly interested in speaking to people living or working in that borough. Should anyone else wish to come forward I'd still be very keen to speak to you.

Best wishes,

Luke.

Should someone who's not in the industry even be registered and using this site? Xx

They can if they stick to the appropriate boards and don't make a nuisance of themselves, yes. We have this one and the spamming one so that the other boards don't get clogged up, and everyone can ignore them if they want to.

Dear Luke,

Please check out my hourly rate (which I think you'll find to be about the going rate) and then consider very carefully if you can afford the time and help of any of the escort's here.  Sorry but in this business, as you may have gathered 'time is money'. Of course I have just helped in your journalistic training, there are no free lunches here. That's for free hun.

You also indicate that you're too tight to travel and leave your patch, hmmm.

By the way, I'd love to know how you plan to 'draw greater, positive attention to what you do, to raise some important issues and get some personal stories/experiences'. Personally I do get plenty of 'positive attention' from the guys who pay my wages.

Thanks but no thanks, now run along as I'm sure there must be a dog show somewhere for you to cover....

Nuff said?
