I read through the of com act and if I've understood it correctly, Adult work is a pornography host with user-to-user content interaction and it can be accessed by under age people then it will apply to the site as a whole not just the private galleries.

Hi

Is this about the new law where sex workers now must submit passport o driving license before they can place ads on their website.  Vivastreet and locanto have this new law in place.  I've deleted my accounts because I'm assuming that all websites involving sex workers etc are affected by this new law.  I'm sure thus has affected thousands of sex workers.  Would like to hear what other workers feel about this.

Hi

Viva street and locanto are no longer letting sex workers advertise unless they produce passport or driving license.   I've deleted both accounts as they're not going to allow me to advertise without official ID.

I gave that ID to AW years ago.

I haven't advertised with Viviastreet for a long time, but if this new change results in increased visibility and better client enquiries, then I would be willing to give Viviastreet my ID.

I was very impressed that a women working for vivastreet went before the anti-sex-work bunch at the House of Commons to stand up for their business and ours.

But in my experience, I think I get so few actual real clients from Vivastreet I may have actually lost money advertising there. It is certainly hard to be sure it's made a worthwhile profit. That's just me, what I do, and where I'm located. Other sex workers might do a lot better.

This is overall a good thing. I gave that info to aw, as I am sure alot of girls have. The system helps to ensure the girls on the site aren't underage and are genuine. I always avoided vivastreet due to its bad reputation. Any clients I have met, that used that site, got scammed one way or another. This will help prevent that.
