Hey,
I know media requests aren't loved on this forum, but I am a journo for the BBC, wanting to tell a young ladies' story in the best way possible and unfortunately cannot pay for interviews.
A woman has contacted me to tell her story - she sells sexual images of herself online on Snapchat and apps like Only Fans, as well as working as a lap dancer at the weekends.
She says she was sexually assaulted by mutual friends after a night out – and the police did not take her case seriously because of the nature of her work and her online foot print. I am writing a feature on this, and wanted to speak with someone about the fact that people in this industry (particularly online sex services) often have no support.
I really want to tell this ladies story in the best way possible, and at the minute it could be seen as her word against the police, and I am sure this is not an isolated situation - so if any one who has had a similar experience would be willing to speak with me (it is for online so can be anonymous/over the phone) please reach out - I would appreciate it!!
Also, I have seen some of the concerns re media requests, so if you do not wish to contribute to this story but think there are other things which should be looked into/reported, please feel free to drop me a message.
Thank you in advance!
