Lap Dance & Sexuality Research
« on: 24 March 2011, 04:16:45 pm »
Hi There!

I am Jo, and I am currently doing some PhD research into how people feel about lap dance clubs and lap dance itself (ie do they approve, disapprove, would they want a club in their area etc). This will tie into a discussion about societal attitudes to sexuality, gender and sexual spaces.

I have a questionnaire which you can fill in here Lap Dance on your street link.

I am also doing interviews to get people's opinions. This could be done via MSN Messenger, email, skype or in person (if you are Manchester/Cheshire based.

I know this isn't a lap dance board but I really want to get the opinions of some people who have experience of sex work and sexual entertainment (as opposed to your usual people who do not have experience/ are anti sex work and seem to have a lot to say).

If you are interested, pm me or drop me an email on nandevadra@yahoo.co.uk.

My website is Lap dance on your street for further info and I have a blog of the same name at blogspot.com.

Thanks guys, your input would be much appreciated!

Hiya, I've done your questionaire, I used to work in a strip club so I'm more than happy to share my input. But the links youve posted have %22 at the end of them and are directing to an incorrect website
I have not put my real name or email address though

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far with questionnaires and interview, your input has been so useful!

If anyone else wants to contribute or if I have not been in touch with you yet, let me know and we can sort something out.

I will keep the group updated with my findings xxxxx
