I have found that agency bookings have become very slow, and for a while now have all been one hour bookings, whilst independent bookings have risen if anything

I wonder if this has anything to do with the proposed law to prosecute anyone booking a prostitute who works with the help of someone else?

Sorry to bring this old topic back but I'm starting out as an escort but hope to do it along side my day job as I need the extra money. Do you think there's room in the market for another mid-20yr old with the girl-next-door image with the economy as it is? I'm working in Bournemouth but if I made myself available for jobs across the coast and South in general would I attract business?

I'm no expert but gosh - I would've thought the only answer to your question could be yes! There's still a market for women of any age and you'll definitely attract a whole bunch of clients while you're new. You can probably afford to be a little choosier about which locations you cover at the beginning.

Best thing to do is advertise yourself honestly, be upfront with your do's and don'ts (and don't be afraid to stick to them!) - and don't forget to hang up on timewasters/whiners/weirdos. :) Then it may take a little time to get established but you'll hopefully be established happily, without having felt pushed around, bullied, 'cheap', or worn out.

London Agencies are suffering badly two reasons

1 - yes lack of wealthy clients

2- Number of very cheap agencies trying to price themselves down market.  I recently saw a ?99 an hour agency most are between ?110 and ?120 their comission is usually higher too as they have drivers the girls have to pay for

The avergage agency price two years ago was ?150 incalls ?200 outcalls.

Personally I cannot agree with an Agency Escort only earning ?50 an hour so lets hope things get better.

What I'm finding is there are a lot more guys making advance bookings, then cancelling them at the last minute. I've talked to some other girls in the North and they are having the same trouble. Booking then cancelling or simply not showing (having booked same day). A guy has told me that basically money is short, guys make themselves feel better by making a booking then cancel when they can't make it financially.

This is actually quite unfair since in the meantime we've probably turned away genuine guys or regulars. So it's affecting the decent guys, as well as our businesses. Some girls just can't be bothered and now don't rush until they know the guy is actually outside.

This is going to mean (a) Lot's of guys are going to find themselves barred (b) Other's aren't going to get the same service since you aren't getting yourself all excited and sexy for appointments and (c) Some Ladies are deciding the money isn't worth all the hassle and are giving up.

You wouldn't do this to your Dr, Physio, Cleaning lady would you?

Get out of here, Are you serious? Here I am thinking its just the men in the U.S. doing it to male escorts...its gotten so bad in fact that I almost do not  accept any advanced appointments. Even if I do; its first come, first serve. Even thats tricky cause what if that advanced booking is an overnight or multi-hour (which they usually are)...Then you accept someone else who calls last minute and worst case scenario they dont show.

But one site; craigslist...I absolutely do not take any advanced appts for it. The key is to listen to what they say. If they try to drag the conversation on even a little bit; and then say they want to meet in a few hours, or cant give exact info...100% of the time they'll flake
