I am writing because I am currently working on a project for the Shenzhen Biennial of Art
The project is called Ghana ThinkTank

In short the project collects social problems great and small from a host city (in this case Shenzhen) and then sends the problems to a group of think tanks all over the world to ask for solutions which we then implement in the host city.
We want to start a think tank in Las Vegas and we are interested in the opinions of sex workers. The goal of our process is to discover and share the perspective and genius of others.
HOW IT WORKS:
We are currently collecting problems in Shenzhen, China for an exhibit at the Shenzhen Biennial this December.
? 5 problems will be chosen and sent to the participating think tanks.
? The think tanks talk about each one and videotape their discussion.
? The think tanks propose a solution for each of the problems at the end of the video.
? When we have received solutions from each think tank, we put them into action, inviting people in the host city to help us make them reality.
? We will record that process of making ideas into action and then send the video back to the think tanks, so they can determine the success of the ideas/solutions.
? The video of the think tank discussion will be shown as part of the exhibition and each person will be credited in the presentation unless they would like to remain anonymous.

Also explain to us what the problem is?
Are we the problem? Or are we so radical and brilliant we can solve the worlds problems?

This is my problem: I need to make more money. Let the "think tank" put it into action and invite "the people" so that they help me make it reality. hey maybe it works. U never know. ;D

If it's based in China? ???

This project is about dialogue and the interest of international exchange.
There is a nominal stipend for the get together but the project is a non profit
venture so I am sorry to say that we are likely to disappoint in that regards to
money.
if we are ever hosted by Las Vegas We would certainly send your problem
to the think tanks.

We organize think tanks during the same period as problems are being collected
in an effort to streamline the exchange. This way once the problems are received
they can go directly out to think tanks rather than waiting to get everyone organized.
We don't know what the problems will be until we get them. Some problems we
have gotten in the past include "the elderly are treated like a burden to society,"
"people here are unfriendly," " the theater is boring," "this city is too flat."
Of course you are not the problem but perhaps you have the answer.
We find that radical brilliance often comes from the most unexpected places.

Well, my cats keep me awake at night, the weather's been too hot, and the fan in my computer is about to die. They're my problems at the mo, they can have that for free/stipendless.

I hear you on the bacon, Natasha. It's the one thing that stops me from fully becoming a non-animal-meat-eater. Yet I know that from the first bite of satan's bacon, I will be disappointed and have to floss for hours after.

Why is that? I am obsessed with the idea of bacon (it smells sooo good), and have trawled farm shops far and wide. Also, have you noticed, when worms get squashed on the pavement, then dried out by the sun (sundried?) they resemble bacon. Especially streaky bacon. :-X

To whom this may concern,
When I travel around not everything fits into my suitcase. So then I end up with a suitcase, a handbag and a rucksack. This is not to mention the plastic bag of stuff I seem to accumulate on the way; owing to the must have magazine and that wonderful sandwich / crisps etc meal deal. Oh and all the stuff I conveniently managed to 'forget' ' ' leave behind' . Or rather, having convinced myself I did not need such and such item I now find I must have these items after all. Or else!
I have tried using a bigger sized suitcase where I can fit more stuff in. But I still end up with the handbag(goes without saying) and that obligatory plastic bag.
Plus, this size of suitcase is so large that it really is a struggle to get on and off the bus, train; anywhere really. If I get a taxi I get glowered at because of the sheer bulk and heftiness.
I definitely cannot get on a plane with all this stuff. It is a pity as I was really looking forward to a nice sun filled holiday and it actually makes me :'( to think that all because of this I may miss out.
So, if you can help me to come up with a solution I would be most grateful..

Regarding flu dust and so on what a good idea. Just like Harry Potter :)
You are right about the twats issue. Perhaps we could adapt the dust powder to just make them vanish. Now you see them, now you don't. Or how about making them freeze in mid sentence or action and then making them vanish. Isn't there an actual movie / tv programme with the freeze routine in it? ;)
