Researchers at Queen’s University have been asked to consider the impact of the law in Northern Ireland which made it a criminal offence to pay for sex (from 2015).  As part of this research we need to conduct face-to-face interviews with sex workers to consider how the law has affected them.  For example, has it made meeting clients more or less risky?  Has this law affected your working life in other ways? 
All the interviews will be completely  anonymous and confidential. You don’t have to use your real name. This interview will last around one hour, and will ask you about your experiences as a sex worker. This is an opportunity for you to have your voice heard, and give your thoughts on your life and work. We want to ensure that taking this time to talk to us will be of benefit to you, so will provide any person who takes part with a £50 voucher that can be used in Amazon or elsewhere.
We really value your opinion and since similar legal changes are being suggested for England and Wales and elsewhere in Europe it is important to study what the effects of this law have been.
