Title: Article in The Guardian (Australia version)
Post by: Nameless on 21 June 2013, 12:20:21 pm
In the wake of Jill Meagher's murder this article has been written in The Guardian (Australia).  Seems to focus on brothel workers and the violence they experience, very different from the everyday experience of most Independents.

I may be entirely wrong, and anyone can feel free to dispute me on this, but I do believe Project Respect is sort of hated by a lot of sex workers in Victoria, due to their supporting criminalization at a point (possibly still now), and because of this I have a lot of biased against believing this article in it's entirety. It would be good for a parlour/brothel girl to chip in after reading it, because the article does really paint a different picture to indies, as you say Nameless. Good link!
