Hi, it's been a while since I posted, but if anyone wants to join a group for sex workers to talk about touring and anything, really let me know. Must be verified via adult work.
We do have some rules below ypu must agree to first.
SAAFE TOURING WhatsApp member rules must be agreed to by all new members and
adhered to by all new and existing members at all times. Additions to the group must read and
agree to the rules,new members will need to be validated and vouched for by an existing
member.
1) All members must be a current or previous sex worker. We love our allies, and we will ask for
ally support in other ways.
2) All members must be prepared to support and represent sex workers who work across all
platforms and in any area of the sex industry.
3. All members must agree to keep other members’ identities secret. Members must not share
personal information or any information that could be used to identify any individual within the
group in any situation. This applies outside of the group, on our platforms, in our forums, and
chats, and in our meetings unless - and only - where the individual concerned has given clear
written or verbal consent.
4. Anything discussed within the private forums or in meetings is not to be shared publicly or
outside of those spaces, except where it is appropriate or necessary for our campaigns and our
goals, and agreed by the other members, and where it is not in conflict with number 3.
5. All members must be respectful of all other members. Bullying, harassment or abuse of any kind, in any of our virtual or physical spaces, will not be tolerated and will result in removal from
the group.
6. Any and all sex workers’ experiences are valid and should be given equal weight, whether
that has been shared within our group or elsewhere. Members will not belittle or defame any sex workers’ experience in or outside the group.
7. Members can be involved in whatever capacity they wish, big or small, and in whatever
capacity that they feel comfortable with. Members will not pressure any other members to be
more involved than they are comfortable with or able to.
8. We do not represent owners, managers, pimps or likewise. We are strictly by the workers and for the workers.
9. We are an equal rights and opportunities group, and members must not discriminate on any
grounds, including, but not limited to, race, gender, sexuality or religion. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the group. (we don't discuss having a racial preference in this group)
Failure to comply with any of these rules could result in removal from the group.
