Ladies,

Thank you all for your enthusiastic response! As of now, please consider the wee community open (pity there's no champagne drinking emoticon).

On a less brighter note, the full moon was last night so we're a bit late this time. The next full moon is March 30 and everyone's welcome (and so are ideas). Alternatively, we could arrange something for the new moon (March 15) and it even makes more sense - as the moon grows, so do other things...

Alexa (many thanks) has offered to swap numbers.

As for those who are not based in Edinburgh, the wee community is not exclusive. As my extended calculations confirm, the new moon happens in Glasgow at approximately the same time as here. But seriously, everyone's invited and we could divide the wee community into wee subcommunities by cities (and then we go global  :D ) but those who insist on the original  ;D are welcome to crash my sofa.

Another suggestion: we could meet say once a month (more/ less often as desired) for a biscuit and experience exchange. It's always good to meet your buddies.

Ideas/ constructive criticism/ a name for the community are welcome.

I have to say it was looking at your site and profile (amongst other people's) that finally made me want to do this.  I've only had two clients so far, but I love it! I don't know why I didn't do it years ago!

I think it's a fabulous idea to have regular meets, this can be a very lonely and isolating industry and I
firmly believe the more you get out there and meet other ladies the better.

Hi Jewel, this is fantastic, love the idea of your 'wee community', which may in time turn out not to be so wee!  lol

Have replied to your email, it got lost in my junk mail.  It would be great if other ladies in other areas could do something similar.  Im about to set up the second London Network meeting, so will let you know how it goes.  Please keep in touch with how things progress.

I'd love to be involved, I'm new and would love to meet ladies with the same job as me as no one (and I mean no one) knows what I do for a living and it is quite lonely.
