Thanks for letting me know Amy! I didn't know about the post number requirement when it came to emails. It is not that I'm not interested in participating in this forum itself, this just happened to be the first thing I've wanted to post about.
That's absolutely fine! The SAAFE forum is free to join, read and post on, but if you really can't find a single thread you want to contribute to first, then that's the only way people here will be able to get in touch.
As you can imagine with a site aimed at people new to sex work, we have some potentially very vulnerable posters here and we don't want random folks to be able to sign up and contact them privately without us being a bit more confident about them first.
It's not a bad time to remind everybody to be careful what you tell people about yourself; we can't keep an eye on things off the forum, so if you're going to swap RL details (even work ones), think carefully about who you're swapping them with.
Also bear in mind that by posting your contact info on the public board, some of the people who use it won't be who they say they are (which is why we have the PM system)
