looking for a mentor someone to chat and get advice from In Portland OR

I'm new to the industry got my feet wet ,but now Im ready to work independently I'm 18 turning 19 next month  I'm looking for someone who can possibly meet talk willing to give me some advice to lead me in the right direction to get started .. I been thru alot and I'm just ready to do this the right way .

I'm really sorry that there isn't a good American site like this one - there are a handful of Americans posting here but it's primarily UK. I hope you find some good support where you are. But be careful - advertising that you're very young and new and needing advice can attract some predatory types.
