Noisy Neighbour Is Hindering Business
« on: 01 April 2013, 02:22:24 pm »
Oh no.. Only the flat opposite me is making so much noise, they must be having a party being bank holiday. It usually is quiet during the day. Luckily my first client wasn't put off by it. Hopefully back to normal tomorrow, am needing some peace.

An update....

I phoned the police as the other flats been at it since 10.30am non stop shouting and now out the window. I pleaded that am fearful that might go on all night. And all I want to do is live in peace. So complained with disturbance of the peace. Now they are coming out to see them. :)

So now am hoping they stay in for the police. Imagine at a party drinking alcohol all tipsy/drunk then having the police turning up. What a shock they will get. So am binding my time now.

With all due respect if it is something that hardly ever happens, I would not bother as i would not want to draw unnecessary attention to myself especially if I am working from home.

You wouldn't be unless they knew who called the cops!
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

You are really lucky the Police came out at all as normally they dont bother unless it is before 7am or after 11.30pm as people can make as much noise as they want within certain guidelines between those hours.  Even nightclubs do nto need to monitor the noise they let outside until 11.30pm.

I used to live next to neighbours who partied every weekend all day Saturday and Sunday and there was nothing the police could do as at 11.30pm they would turn the noise right down and end the party.  Even the council and enviromental health could not do anything either.
Its why workmen dont care what noise they make all day as they are allowed but its also why they dont/cant work at night in a built up area.
Truth is far more important than what one wants to hear. With truth there is no us and them or colour or religion there is just fact
