I have a client that comes every week for an hour and thinks we are in a friendship, not a business agreement.
That's where I get confused, what can we do? We are pleasers by nature, and they go and interpret it as it suits them. This particular one, stays for 1 1/2 hours, when just paying for one, I don't mind, he is very helpful otherwise, not that it would cover the 30mns extra every week, but we never know what gonna happen tomorrow and is better to have some people on your side for a rainy day. However I was absolutely chocked when sometime ago he sent me a txt asking if everything was ok as he notice we just stayed together for 1 hour and 15mns
. it was already 15mns more than he paid for and he is now moaning....
I suppose that there is two kinds of clients who wants more time than they are entitled to:
The ones who think that there is more than business and we only take their money because we are poor little girls, and the spiteful ones who wants to make sure that they are going to get every penny worth. To be honest both cases are very sad!
