Omg me too! I deleted all my social media as I live in a totally different world to everyone on there and have nothing in common with them.  I got fed up of reading all the supposed amazing things and places people had visited and liked to show off about, i was frustrated because I had to remain tight lipped and live under the radar, the places I go and the things I now do, I could blow them out the water lol i totally identify with everyone on Saafe,and have such a giggle reading some of the threads. I don't miss social media at all, the one thing I have noticed is the amount of time you gain from not using it.

In a hotel yesterday, I closed the window and an alarm goes off, really fucking loud. Confused as it wasn't the first time I'd closed the window but not normally any alarm. I was in my stockings etc so had to quickly get dressed and hide anything incriminating because I thought it was the alarm in my room and not the general hotel one, I thought I'd set it off.

The noise was unbearable and a couple of hotel staff came to help me, really puzzled as they had no idea what was happening and we couldn't work out where the noise was coming from. So hotel man points to my arm and says 'I think it's coming from you!'

And fuck yes it was my wrist alarm I must have pressed by accident! It was so not funny at the time I felt like such a twat! But they laughed about it! I do check that it works from time to time but only for a second and I've (thankfully) never needed it. Jesus though my ears were in pain...at least I know it works, no bastard would hang around listening to that and the hotel people came quite fast so I guess it works!
