I've visited Aberdeen recently,and had to leave my stuff in a locker.There are some units available next to train station.There is no self service though,and you need to open your suitcases and let staff search through a content.I couldn't help,but smile,when I saw him opening my bag with condomes and lubes

I've never had it happen before,only saw other ladies with bags searched in Canada last year.
I had no condoms,only clothing,and my bag wasn't open at all.
Few years ago I travelled from Swizerland with notes rolled into a condom,and stuffed inside.I got through personal search only because I walked through metal detector with my shoes on.If only they knew

Returning from Dubai once a Muslim lady searched my bag and it was full of all kinds of toys, whips, lube, condoms and sanitary products. (This was before I was escorting!) I was petrified I'd be arrested for obviously having sex without being married, but she just looked VERY angry and shut the case again. It's amazing the thoughts and scenarios that can go through your head in a couple of minutes! I had my self, 'banged up abroad' and someone having to explain to my kids why Mummy wasn't coming home! LOL

In the bus station in Glasgow they scan your case just like at the airport. A little bit less intrusive.
