Do you get a change of pace during inclement weather? Tonight...tornado watches and back to back downpours. Its hump day and I havent humped yet!

Ive noticed that on days where it rains heavily work tends to be slower (maybye people cant be bothered to travel around and risk getting drenched)

Also if its very warm and sunny it tends to be slow as well. Maybye because in Britain the weather is so erratic that people want to make the most they can of any good weather we get.

And i would have said an imminent tornado would probably put the most steadfast and horny gent off his stride somewhat ;D

I find it is very busy if it is sunny and much less busy if its raining.  As we are indoors should it matter? Seems it does.

If the Irish and Dutch decided not to go out on a rainy day, the whole country would cease to function. It doesn't seem to make a bit of difference in my neck of the woods.

And I was just going to mention that...In places like London where (according to folk) its rainy and foggy day in, day out then it must not affect much? And on the islands like Dominican Republic its considered quite sexy to do it during the rain.

However, back in the winter...I did find that cold, dreary and foggy days tended to bring about some interest (and very bad for driving!) but when it would ice over or the winds pick up it was silent. At my 'other' job, customers hardly wanted to even be on the phone during the thunderstorn!

Dangerous ice and winds?! Joey, you have scary weather out there! :P Here in London it's always rather moderately miserable. The sun comes out a bit in summer, and it rains a bit all year round. But hardly ever exciting storms. Sometimes the countryside floods. Sometimes there is a breeze. But mainly it's just the blessed same - we Londoners are exercising our creative talents really, with our daily weather-complaining! ;D

usually when I watch movies from London, its always slowly raining, carrying black umbrellas...lots of people walking. The thing with this part of the US is during the summer, we get hurricanes and tornados...but often you get the surprise storms that can damn well resemble one! Ask anyone who has lived on Miami Beach (not just Miami, Miami beach) and they'll tell you one minute its sunny and within 10 minutes your beach gear can end up blown onto the street or into the water. And then after that its sunny again  ::)

I'm going to disagree Brandy - we have four seasons - fairly cold rainy season followed by moderately warm rainy season, then cooler rainy season and finally freezing rainy season.  :P

I've heard London described as a cloudy desert, apparently they greyness fools people into thinking it rains all the time. South East England is the driest part of Britain, not that that's saying much.

I'm sorry London, you're beautiful and you have so much to offer, but I just cant be with you. I like sunny places. Maybe we could just be 'friends'  :D
