What a difference new photos made
« on: 11 March 2015, 03:01:58 pm »
I've had the same photos up for ages - really nice semi-pro pics a client did for me. I thought they were classy and tasteful, but noticed business is quiet last few weeks.
Rewrote my profile to make it more concise, deleted FAQs except the important ones, local featuring and available today on, phone number always showing, update profile every day, not much change.
Add one naked selfie as my main pic (not showing any boobs or private parts though) and BOOM - diary is full for rest of week, lots of old clients getting back in touch to say "nice pic, I'll book soon", enquiries for when I move to city centre.
Amazing! Financially I've been struggling a little as I was worried about the costs of moving flats and having to buy furniture for new one as its unfurnished but looks like problem solved for now!
Did not expect 1 pic to have this effect!
Any one else notice a big change when new pics are added? :)

Was actual suspicious as I was getting 1 hour bookings not 30 mins and lots of them so got all new clients to call and as far as I can see all are genuine.

Yes! This absolutely makes a difference. I change/update my three main photos pretty regularly. I have to say that the ones I have now are less than a month old and for the first week or so I wasn't even in town, but I've still been slow. So, it's not a definite cure-all but it does indeed help.

I have also changed my AW profile name (not my actual name, though, that remains the same. You can't go from Mary to Jane if your feedback raves about Mary) and that, combined with new photos and a new profile headline made a huge difference. It helped that at the time I had added some new services and sort of had a good think about what I wanted to do in bookings/what business I was going after. It wasn't just superficial, it was a total rebrand.

I don't really change my main profile pics that often, coz I've had people looking for me when i'd just changed my pic and
they couldn't find me  ;)
But I try and add, and/or change about my gallery pics and private gallery pics every few weeks, even if I only add one or two,
still wets their apetite, and reminds them you're there.. ;)
If it doesn't help, it certainly won't hurt!!
I don't have to be perfect, but I'm perfect at being me!

Yes, it can make a big difference. I learnt that years ago. I don't like to show too much, but it's amazing what one good photo can do.

In my experience it does make a difference..........

Remember on aw, guys can get an email if you add new pics to private gallery . ....

I have noticed though that putting up new pics makes a difference as they like to see new outfits etc - demanding buggers they are!

It shows them you're still active and working, and it gives them an updated look at how you look now. It refreshes their interest. It's a good tactic.

I have a load of videos that I had done in the summer but never got round to using them and what I have done is taken screen shots of the videos they look almost like selfies If that' makes sense and works really well and has made a big difference as most of my photos are professional ones
