Witheld number calling me non stop

Has anybody else had this? I have an iPhone, and "no caller id" will not stop ringing me. It's been going on for months! It's not every day, sometime he'll go a week without calling but when he wants to start calling he is so persistent. He doesn't speak most of the time, but if he does he says woof woof or talks for a second in a baby voice then puts the phone down. If I ignore it or reject the call he calls more and more. Sometimes I answer and don't say anything just so I can receive other calls through call waiting cos when he calls over and over I can't get any other incoming calls! Does anyone know how to block witheld numbers from calling you in an iPhone? Or has anyone else had this problem? He calls at all hours of the morning sometime 20 times in half an hour it's ridiculous... Help lol!!!

I don't have an iPhone but on my android I've got an app called Mr Number, it lets you block nuisance numbers from calling & texting and has an option for blocking unknown callers. It may not be the same person every time though because sometimes clients do call on withheld, it's quite common when they are timewasters and there's certainly a lot of them about. If you can't get Mr Number for your iphone then am sure there's plenty of alternatives and the majority are free x

It's definitely the same guy, he calls over and over sometimes like 60 times or more in a row it's like he's trying to block up my phone so I can't take any other calls. And every now and again he'll say woof woof... He must be so bored to call to persistently or sometimes I think he's working with another girl and doesn't want me to get calls..? Thanks I'll give it a go I hope u can get that on iPhones!! XX

On Iphones you can block numbers but you cannot block a withheld number.  when they brought in the block function last year I had hoped a withheld caller block would have come with it but NO not that simple for apple argh

Phone our phone provider with dates and times of his calls (the time on your phone not watch or clock) if you have more than ten they will block his number from calling you again.  Whilst you cannot see his number mobile phone providers can as it is only withheld from you. 

Do not answer his calls in the mean time and if you do explain that you have taken it up with the phone provider and they will be taking action.
You can also call the police who will also not only ensure he cannot contact you again will go and pay him a visit as well as this is harassment.  Calling the police will also give you an incident number to give to your phone provider so they do take it seriously and stop him calling you

I am sure Apple have an app in their store if you look on your phone. You might need to pay though. Many unknown I just block them. Try not to answer them as it gives time wasters excitement in turn making them want to harass more getting a kick. If he was ignored am sure he will move on to the next.

I find this works :) pick up make sure it's him then loud speaker n mute call that way u can tell it's deffo him

What he's doing is harassment which is illegal. If someone was doing that to me I'd want them to realise they aren't above the law just because I'm a prostitute and I'd be asking the Police for advice. When I had problems with late night silent calls many years ago (admittedly on my landline and before I was a WG) the Police took it seriously. I can't remember the exact details but I had to keep a diary of the day and time of every nuisance call then give the info to my service provider. The Police had given them the authority to trace the calls and when the guy was found the Police paid him a visit 8)

I find either cutting them off straight away or just simply ignoring all withheld works.
Or you could just answer and then put your phone on the side, waste his minutes like hes wasting your time.

I had a similar thing happen to me a while back just went to the police and they done the same paid a visit to unknown caller ....hey presto ...it stopped .they also told me its only 5 text messages or calls to be classed as harassment..there's an app I have on my HTC  phone that blocks text msgs from blocked contacts and withheld numbers  xx

That's great, I bet the arsehole got the shock of his life!
These people clearly arent all there but that's no excuse, it's good to know the police are able to help regarding these lunatics, no one should be subjected to harassment like this
