Sorry guys, I seem to be on this forum a lot - it's the enthusiasm of the newbie, plus, I am not working much at the moment. 

I wonder how this just happened:  my phone rings, I see it's witheld, so just I just "muted it" and let it go.

A minute later, I receive a text notifying me of the missed call (and these texts automatically have the number included.  Some service providers send these sms notifications and others don't.) 

Anyway, I thought it might have been 2 separate calls, but I don't think it was.  I rang the guy back (one ring) and he called me straight back, sounding in a bit of a panic.  He must've been thinking "how the hell did she do that? I witheld my number."

So I went thru my whole shpeel, and he asked at the end "you have my number now, you won't use it will you?  I'm married" etc. 

I assured him most of my clients were attached and said I was discreet.  Can networks screw up like that though? 

Yes, it's Orange, and normally if it's a witheld number, I get no text about it, just registers as a missed call from an unknown number.   If they don't withold, I get a text with the number. 
Sheesh this gets confusing.
But I was thinking today, judging by his reaction, that I wished it would happen more often.  I wished I could have seen his face
