Title: Why do blocked clients keep trying to call you...
Post by: Milf-G on 04 February 2022, 08:14:51 pm
...and not get the hint they are blocked?? It really spooks me and I'm worried they're going to turn up unannounced.

I've had quite a few that I've blocked for various reasons keep trying to call me for months and months. Once I even had an email to my escort email after this guy tried for 9 months to see me again after he was blocked m after his 1st visit. I absolutely went mad at him. He tried ringing literally every week for that entire time.

I blocked one in November because I just didn't enjoy him, saw him twice and he would order me around.  He's tried ringing every day for nearly 2 weeks now.

I find it really creepy

Just like you I get it too
There's one in particular forever ringing  , I'm sick of him he will not stop, blocked him forever this time his stupid keeps the same number ,  I used to shout at him and tell him to stop and fuck off  but he continues  he and others  are just freaks getting a kick out of annoying us , they not right in their backward heads .

You're getting me worried now! I've had a few on my blocklist calling sometimes repeatedly since the pandemic eased a bit late last year. Some were no hopers I declined to see and blocked. Some I had seen before but only once or twice maximum. One I threw out before he paid me and blocked so you'd think he would get the message. One maybe two I had previously asked to stop calling or messaging. They eventually give up so far.

I don't know why they do this. I guess because we sell availability and they convince themselves? I suppose a few may not realise they are blocked. Could be a billion reasons. Their own feelz? Thinking we're just busy? The worst for calling was the one I threw out so maybe the odd one is just a controlling creep? That one sounded "posh" on the phone but different in person and reeked of being an ex-lifer or something equally not nice. That one spooks me.

I don't know what message comes up when they try to ring and I've blocked them, but I'm pretty sure I would get the hint if I was trying to contact someone and not getting connected. I'm so glad I've moved and some of these creeps don't know where I am anymore.

Yes I agree very creepy.. it worse when  they try and trick you off a different number.. what I do now is I ask all new clients (new numbers) to phone call me…(no phone call no booking)  I will then ask them have a I seen you before.. I have caught one out who I posted about as he admitted he changed his number once I did the screening..

It’s extremely Annoying but i think getting all new clients to phone call is the best way to spot the blocked types as after a few questions most will slip up and show themselves..Just have to have your guard up and screen so they can’t slip through the net..

It’s even worse when they confront you on cam about it when you’re trying to cam! So awkward and stressful. This is why I wish they’d let us have separate profiles!

I usually block people because I can tell right away he doesn't understand boundaries, them continuing to pest me "makes sense" (if you get my drift) and just confirms my intuition was right. I don't sweat over it.

Pet lover that's a really good idea. I'm going to use that. When I get a blocked number trying to call me then get a new number calling  shortly after I do get quite anxious that it is perhaps the same guy. There was one day last week where I was so spooked by incessant phone calls that I just said I was fully booked all day and saw no one.

Very true!!

I don't generally tell the ones who didn't get past the enquiry stage they're blocked, so I do get them calling and texting but I find they give up eventually when they get no response at all. If they use a different number the reason they were turned away will still be there, since they lack the self awareness to know what it is.

I did have one turn up at my door a couple of weeks ago who booked on another number; I'd put him in the See If Starving section of my phone and ignored a text from a couple of days earlier (because I wasn't starving ;D) just because he was such bloody hard work - not awful, just draining and annoying. I got on with the booking but that really pissed me off and if he tries it again I won't open the main door (which is my own fault for not looking at the CCTV carefully and just pressing the door release).

It’s even worse when they confront you on cam about it when you’re trying to cam! So awkward and stressful. This is why I wish they’d let us have separate profiles!

Adultwork (whom I'm assuming is 'they') don't, but Adultwork isn't the only webcam/advertising site?

Sounds awful Amy. I might have to do a 'only when skint' list because I block far too easily.

Yeah. Mine is for the ones who aren't terrible and didn't do anything wrong but who I'm just not keen on or find really draining for whatever reason - it's really the second chance list as most who go on it either don't seem as bad the second time they visit or they're even worse (and get blocked ;D).

If a SIS one wants to book I try to shove them in the middle of a busy day, then they're easier to deal with. I don't entertain the blocked ones at all though - I once let one through because it was so long since I'd seen him I'd forgotten why he was persona non grata and he seemed pleasant enough, but I soon remembered  >:( ;D

Everywhere I go on tour I still have the same people trying to contact me, years later. Since anyone with half a brain would realise they were blocked, my initial action of blocking them in the first place is satisfyingly justified.

They don't realise though do they, lol.

Because in the main they are obnoxious, self entitled pricks who refuse to take no for an answer.

I never block people (even the most annoying ones who keep sending "Hi", "Hi", every day) simply because they could try contact me with another number so if I just ignore them, they might think I'm just busy.
I really don't understand why some people keep trying and trying even when you've been ignoring them for months or even the ones to whom you explicitly said you don't want to see them for some reasons.

Some think with their little brain... I had abusive texts months back from a 70yr old, I say no texts, obviously I read the texts but do ignore them. He then gets really shitty and self entitled saying I'd lost out on loads of money and I had no respect for the elderly (I do have an upper age limit) and he was past it, I replied that I clearly stated texts were ignored in my profile and his reaction told me that he wasn't suitable. In the last 3 days he has tried to call at least 10 times. He obviously forgot he insulted me.

what would be if we split them in 3 category :
1st i don't mind to see them.
2st i prefer to not see them too often, since they have one of my dislikes: are some kind of time watcers that want to make you work for evry penny that they give you, problem with hygene or big dicks.
3st one of the things that i don't like but at next level or a combination of all them ::)
i could make a price difference to first to category without being silly?

i am not a machine , so i wish to be able to make some changes without being silly or make them think i am thaking the piss.

I love the SIS: See If Starving  :D
My equivalent is OID: Only If Desperate and I am relieved to say in 12 years I have never had to use it yet.. Usually means they are complete knobheads, utterly filthy dirty etc
I have another, HDWK: Hard Work, which usually just means they are physically very demanding, but generally clean, fresh and OK in personality

Often when a phone has blocked you, you hear a little half ring before voicemail kicks in.
Dead giveaway, but may not happen on all phones.

I have one who keeps emailing me from different aliases/email addresses. He's really not very bright as he not only has an incredibly distinctive way of writing (and punctuating), he always invites me to fly to his North American city, and the same hotel. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I no longer bother responding to him, but still he writes, weekly, from different aliases. If it wasn't so tragic it would actually be really funny!

I have to say, over the years my three categories (red, orange and green on an Excel spreadsheet) have declined to a plain binary yes or no. Life's too short to spend time with people you don't want to.

I have a tag and five star rating system on my phone. Five stars are instant pickup. Any client who drops below average (three stars) gets blocked. I used to see two stars for the money during a slow period. I found they are not worth the emotional grief. It seems like a similar system to your old one in principle.

I'm finding I just want to do happy things lately so making more choices which align with this.

Many of the ones I'd blocked didn't bother trying to call again. Whether it was because they realised or just couldn't be bothered trying .
They were unsuitable or time wasters who don't quite get into their heads  you didn't want to communicate with them again  :FF

Men just don’t like being told no, I’m sure they see it as a power dynamic and some of them don’t stop until they’re forced too. I never hesitate calling my local sex work liaison police officer if I feel like I’m in danger and I hope no one else feels like they can’t get help because you’re an escort. They can give him a warning for harassment and that usually does the trick

I've threatened some with the harrassment act, but it seems my area doesn't have a police sex liaison worker. I spoke to police recently about an issue via NUM, they were very helpful, understanding and non-judgemental.

These pests seem to think their behaviour is acceptable.
How could we say no to them
It's about power and control to alot of them and when they don't get what they want ,you see the true nacissist come out.

I have a guy that has called and messaged persistently for the last 3yrs. Recently he’s fine no caller ID calls . So got my partner to answer when he called once. Was hilarious to hear him ask if it was me and my partner say in his manly voice do I sound like Michelle 😂.
Update : he’s still calling and texting and same guy tried to book me through another girl for a duo. Told the other girl to not say it was him. Thing is he doesn’t realise we have each other’s backs and sati
Go that to her was a massive red flag 🚩!

Some of them are so weird
I was having the same issue for ages I got hundreds on my work phone I blocked and had some of the numbers on my personal phone where I made the mistake of text them to fuck off and leave me alone , blocked them took the numbers off ( personal phone as I didn't want their numbers saved on my personal phone )  still for months bothering me only seems to have stopped .

So 2 blocked callers over the weekend got new numbers to try and book me. One failed my screening then sent a message in AW, a new account only linked because of the AKA. Another gave me his other number when he said he used to be a reg, he's been trying since October to book me again and I told him he was blocked. He was still trying from his original number just a few days ago. Another caller wa abusive when told no and has text me 12 times and tried calling over 25 times in just over a week. I mean, how dare I have the right to say no!

Today has been full of blocked callers trying to phone me.
One guy called me a hoe after I told him I was blocking him for failing to follow booking instructions (constant 'you free' texts) when I did accept texts as long as they contained useful info. He then said 'plenty more hoars (his spelling) wanted his money'.
Another messed me around then no showed me.
Another threatened to waste my time (easy mate, I will just block you). He has called nearly 30 times in 2 weeks since I blocked him.
Another blocked caller left me negative feedback when I was unable to answer phone prior to his booking and he then no showed me.
Is it a full moon tonight?
