I require 1st contact by text, & once they seem like NOT douche monkeys🐒I’ll ask the usual how would they like to screen, & give them their options (I have about 11, so to tell me you don’t have any of those is....ehhhhh).

I’m getting more & more, “Sure, I have Linked In/Drivers license/whatever, & I’ll need the same from you.”

Ha. Ha. Ha. My exact reply to them is this: “Hey X? Screening isn’t so I can provide MY bonafides to YOU; mine aren’t the ones in question. Screening is how YOU prove yours to ME.”

I would say 8 of 10 refuse. OR they say, “Well, can I call you?” I say of course, but if you think talking to me is going to convince me NOT to screen you....totally barking up the wrong tree🌳.

2 hours later....guess who pops back up with the requested credentials🙄.

What is screening?

Screening in this context means the ways people working in places where prostitution is illegal check that the punter is not law enforcement. We don't need to do this kind of screening in the UK .

There’s something called Lexis Nexus here stateside that employers use to verify potential employees; the deeper you want to go, the more expensive it is. I have the basic, no frills attached $29.95/month pkg, but rarely use it unless I can’t find them on social media platforms or by Google stalking.

Any back story LE (law enforcement) cooked up would crumble very quickly with what I have, but not everyone’s as OCD as me🤷🏼‍♀️. My background checking isn’t so much about the cops, but mostly for bad guys, lots of x referencing to make sure they’re ok to see.

Police aren’t interested in me. I’m a well dressed, older woman quietly traveling🧳the country, creating no trouble & staying in high end hotels, treating the employees nicely & tipping well.

They’re after the drug addicts in the run down motels to get to the higher up ppl, & their higher ups & so on.
