Car breakdown also feasible but convenient excuse.

Woke up not feeling well. I've used this too so can't criticize.

Double booked. I forgot I booked someone weeks ago but forgot about it until she just reminded me.

Forgot I just got notified I have an appointment.

One of the most memorable timewasters drove up to my flats he didn't get out the car and i actually watched him drive off
