Wow...You obviously have a lot more going on in your head than the poor guy who was probably just making conversation.
And you could have lost yourself a good client there..
I would suggest you lighten up :-)

He he! I'm a lazy low life then ! ROFL.  I wouldnt dream of getting up before 10.30 am and I never answer my phone before 10 am.  I would end up growling at them.  Maybe he called me before he called you.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

I would have felt exactly the same! But instead of putting the phone down I would have probably said what you said in text on the phone! Lol

He was probably just trying to make conversation, and if not then it's still rude to slam the phone down and send a stroppy text message to someone who could be a potential client.

Sometimes it's good to just laugh back, something like "Why have you?". Some guys do think we aren't early risers, simply because many see this as a night-time occupation. I don't take it personally and have surprised quite a few by being up and about at 6 or 7am.

I think on top of that you have to remember that a lot of guys are quite nervous when they?re calling and nerves can lead them to say all sorts of silly and inappropriate things. As long as they?re not being impolite or outright rude, I think we have to make some allowances for silly comments/questions and move on.

If my blood is going to boil I try to make it over stuff that really matters...Not an off the cuff remark that was probably said in humour.
Why sweat the small stuff is my motto.

When people assume I'm lying about being university educated  >:(

That really gets my back up. But I just smile sweetly and carry on  :)

Generally I don't let little things bother me, seems too much effort to get wound up!

The thing I hate...wouldn't say it makes my blood boil though, is when taxi drivers, when picking up or dropping you at a hotel,  ask what you were doing there, or what your profession is! I always stumble on my words as I try and think of something quick!
