Like Amy I very rarely drink alcohol. And I hate clients who have had a drink before coming to visit, I hate the taste and smell on them. I think I notice it more because I haven't been drinking.
I don't drink with clients because I don't trust myself not to make a fool of myself by getting the giggles, or falling asleep, which are my two default setting when drinking. Besides I'm a control freak, there is no way that I'm going to relax until the clients is out of that door.
If they want a drink I have bottled water, soft drinks, tea but only if they don't mind goats milk. (I'm allergic to cows milk). I hate the taste of coffee so never offer it. Water is the most popular.
In my personal life, I'll drink anything apart from beer, larger etc yuck. I'm partial to the alcoholic ginger beer at the moment. It's been sitting in my kitchen for the last month and I think I might have it tonight. Thanks for the reminder
