What brought you into this...
« on: 24 February 2016, 03:01:09 am »
Profession????

I started working as a waitress in a local hotel. While  i was often asked to go back to custmer rooms I occasionally was offered money to do so.`Name your price` one gentalman suggested one evening!

?1000 I told him not thinking for a second he would say yes, but he did.

The next time I did it was near Christmas when I took ?100. After after a while a receptionist noticed what was happening and offered to put work my way for a cut of 25%. The arrangement continued for a year before being discovered and fired.

Prior to my current AW account, I was working as a cam girl on a different account. Same with escorting, you get people who really just want to see you and one gentleman suggested meeting and I figured, "why not?". He was perfect as my first but my second wasn't so nice so I disappeared for a few months, did my homework and haven't looked back since.

A year before I got into escorting, I'd come out of a completely sexless relationship and I remember at the time not wanting to cheat but wishing it was as easy for women to find men for good sex and no complications so maybe the seed was planted long before... :)

I got into it because I moved to Australia for my ex who was Australian  ..sold everything I had here in Canada and thought I would live there forever and happily ever after...well that ended after like 5 months and was a bad breakup...he was the biggest asshole...anyway I had no money left at all to come home with except 400$ and did not want to go back to the city my family was living in and ask for help because I am way too independent and proud plus I always wanted to live in vancouver
so my ex bought my plane ticket and with the 400$ I had I booked a hostel for a week and applied at agencies from Australia and went to an interview once I got back and I did it
it was not easy...I never would think I would be in this trade but now I have my own apartment and car ...I really made it...was very scary at first but so happy I had the balls to do this ...no regrets 😊

Oh Lord, I've known so many girls working as waitress/hostess/hotel staff doing this. It seems to be quite common. I'm just curious ...how did your employer found out?

Lots of things.

Fed up of never getting anywhere financially
Had an alcohol issue
Company working for was going under + entangled relationship at work
Cost of living much higher than wages even for 'qualified' jobs
Didn't want to go onto benefits
Thought I could do it

Alcohol issue now resolved, and also aided me to retrain and qualify in another profession, or two. This would have been difficult, if not impossible in any other type of job.

Hi Emma, no she wasn't, I used to get about ten clients a week from her. If someone asked if they knew someone who provided services the receptionist said she did not then push a card under the door of the client who texted the number. I am not sure what else to tell, ask if you want to know.

I don't know, got a text one day asking if I was available, rang the number and arranged a time. When I arrived the guy gave me the money and told me to undress, as I did he informed me he was security.

Following day I was summoned to the manager office, quizzed who else was involved, told I was being dismissed  and told I am banned from ever entering the hotel again.

Money brought me in to this and what is bringing me out is wanting to enhance my life. It just happened after a few months of working on my plan we have set up together. It was with a client.:) we are very close. Good guys are out there they just need approaching. Go for it. :)

I'm progressing on to being self employed again down new avenues after a civy job.  I always said 2016  is the year for change in my life. :)

I have a very hard time wrapping my head around this... I've never heard of an Hotel guest going to the girl in reception and telling her he wants to have sex in exchange of money and if she knows of anyone. That's like incredibly rude and impolite thing to ask a civvie woman in a professional job dealing with the public. I could understand the guest asking this question to a guy in reception (hiya, do you know of..."wink  wink").

Oh OK, that was the procedure as I understood it, I really did not go into it, I just accepted what I was told.

I have heard that hotel staff sometimes have an arrangement with say an agency, claims that guests will ask, or 'security' offer. I do not know if this is true.

I have been given honest accounts of 'helpful' taxi drivers in other countries, but no reliable evidence of anything like that in the UK.

I know a former hotel receptionist (male), and he often arranged girls for clients at mid-large London hotels.

I've had Taxi drivers sending guys to me in one town, even using his phone too. I can imagine this happening in London but not in the rural areas I live in. Although I do know of a local lady who owns a B&B & she's on AW, does swingers parties too. Not sure if she pimps her staff out though..
