Called into work excuse..
« on: 21 May 2020, 10:59:19 pm »
I just wondered how many girls get the 'Oh I've been called into work excuse' when a booking is cancelled. In all of the civvy jobs I've ever done, I've never been called into work?!

Loads of times but I would rather they let me know than not turning up at all then I give the slot to someone else but it's part of the job baby girl.

This & the car accident one🙄. I had that the other day & said screw it, I’m calling him out on it.

I said, “No kidding?! That’s really something, considering there’s no 1 on the roads at the moment. You must be an incredibly crappy driver to have managed to run into one of the very few other cars🚗on the street😮!”

He never answered lol.

When lockdown first started but it wasn’t official (as in Government hadn’t texted everyone yet to stay in) then I had a booking arranged and then about 20 mins after he got my postcode he texted and said he would have to cancel coz the police had stopped him and asked him where he was going as his registration plate wasn’t from the area I was in, BS of course, I texted back and said “that is odd because my mate is constantly going between Edinburgh and West Lothian and hasn’t been stopped once, sure your not just an address collecting cunt” and then blocked him 😂😂😂

Best to ignore and block any future bookings, it’s tempting to argue and tell off but fuck knows what sort of deranged crazy bastard that might be on the other end of the phone.

Annoying as shit, I just say I know it’s horseshit.

I know but sometimes I just can’t help myself, they expect you to say nothing so I like to do the unexpected!

Yes. I also get, "My child has just been dropped off by his mother/I have to collect them" a lot..

I used to make (what I thought were) deadpan witty remarks in response, but now I simply ignore and block them.
Leaves them in a panic that I may just turn up on their doorstep for my fee - with a big pimp in tow- as I am Outcall only  >:D
