They want to know when the last time I was tested, if I'm negative, this that and the 3rd.

I had to check 2 people just this week alone who badgered me about it. I always tell them there are no guarantees, and I can tell them anything. And it's true. Just because I was tested 2 months ago, I may have met 20 clients since that time and have something unknown.

It's just the risk we all take. Anybody can tell anyone anything about everything. I just found out HPV (Warts/human pap) is the most prevelent STD in the world! Many times with no symptoms.

I had a really friendly email this week, after contacting me when I was on a day off last weekend with "R u available" (I do have an availability tab with this info on it) one line, no greeting message a few days later he sent "Do u get tested regular?".

I replied "Of course not" ;D

Then I sent him another reply explaining why he shouldn't take anyone's word for it, an SP is hardly going to say "Oh, no I don't bother about my sexual health", whether she does or not it's only she knows the truth.

It is an annoying question, the one "are you clean" - I often bounce back with "No-one can guarantee anything, to do so would be ethically wrong. Do you get tested?".

I had a guy ask me if I was clean after making a booking a while ago, 'yes to the best of my knowledge - are you?' 'I'm married darling' ah right so that's a sexual health all clear then (from a guy who assumedly plays around when away from his wife)! The truth is that given the nature of STDs, I's and testing there's simply no way of knowing at any one precise moment whether or not you could be carrying something and I think everyone should realise that and make their own decisions accordingly.

I had a reg saying he thought he had caught chlamydia and asked me when the last time I got tested (for me its every 8-12 weeks)
He got himself all worked up, saying his marriage would be over etc if he had caught it- i told him it was unlikely I had anything, as touch wood, I haven't caught anything before, and I only offer owo, so it is less risk that BB.
Anyway both got the results back (I took the test earlier than normal because he worried me) both came back clear, thank god.
But i do think these guys if they have to much to lose, then they shouldn't be doing anything unprotected with a wg  ::)

it does not bother me at all if they ask me if I get tested regularly and if I am STI free.  Infact I prefer guys to do this as it assures me they too are worried about their sexual health.  However I do also ask them when they last got tested and have to explain that being married and only seeing escorts who say they get tested does not mean they are free from STIs and they look rather shocked and normally pop off to the clinic.

I would prefer a guy to ask me than spend a few weeks after seeing me worrying himself to death
Truth is far more important than what one wants to hear. With truth there is no us and them or colour or religion there is just fact

I don't mind clients asking if I get tested.

But I think some clients are a little deluded that if they are in a relationship that they don't think their partners would cheat on them and possibly pass on an sti.  As if they can cheat why can't their partner!
