I put 25% for the tax bitches and pay my mortgage, bills etc! the rest I save! I have more handbags, shoes, clothes than a third world country, I pay all expenses for my daughters university and have a cheap apartment in Bulgaria that I rent out to tourists, I'm not flash like I was in my 20s I just live comfortably. I think as PaisB said when you get older the pointless luxuries lose their attraction x

It's either that ( getting older ) or you realise a fake handbag for ?50 from turkey looks just as nice as a ?500 one from bond St

The only thing I do spend  my money on is books ( I like reading ) my hair ( wigs /extensions ) and trainers for my running and boot camps which I do 3 or 4 of those a year which can be ?1000 each time  but other than than that I'm not a massive spender in that I spend big amounts every week

I used to spend several hundred pounds on my glasses but had my eyes lasered so don't do that anymore
I like good quality makeup and belong to a good gym, treat myself to holidays but yes I agree Paris I save most of my weekly earnings, have become very frugal the past 10 years. The 10 years before that my money went down the drain with nothing to show for it now! I need my breast implants replaced soon and it will kill me to fork out for that x

lol I want my boobs done again next year and hoping to go abroad with another escort friend and get them done together ( not literally together but same place )

Oh god I am terrible with money, half the time my bills are paid late as I've spent the money on crap.

Worst thing is I don't have rent/mortgage, gas, electric etc to pay, so apart from any debt my outgoings are really low but I still struggle at times.

I do wish I hadn't went wild when first started and had actually put money aside rather than assuming would always be that busy as I could probably have had an incall place by now.

I'm pretty bad with money as well, thinking things will take care of themselves if I'm caught short  ::)
Of course they don't, and having learned the hard way I always make sure I've got enough to pay the
bills, there's money in my bank account when direct debits are due to come out etc..
But I'm still bad for (internet!!)shopping, buying things I really don't need, but I see, like, buy!
It's when I'm not working I really get into trouble, I was on the sick for a while and just couldn't budget at all, because I'm used to having a much bigger income..
Sometimes I worry about the future, I wont be able to escort forever, and I don't know if I'll be able to teach myself to live on a "normal" income.. :-\
I don't have to be perfect, but I'm perfect at being me!

I know it's what I will do when older that worries me.

I'm actually thinking of moving maybe next year to the same area as my mum, just because there is more chance of finding a civvy job and because I have family there could get a council property which would be a lot cheaper than going private.

Nope age or experience in this business has nothing to do with being sensible with money.
I'm 43 & havent the sense I was born with when it comes to money!
When I see something I like, I have to have it.
One day I'll grew up, but not today  ;D

Sorry no tips from me Ieaio as I am as bad if not worse than you  :P

I've learnt now if I want something I class as luxurious or is just plain expensive I do a 'tit4tat' offer and swap my time for the things I want

If I get to the end of the week without ( accepting ) a booking, I start to worry. Maybe even panic slightly?
Thankfully-touch wood-the following week improves so I average a regular decent living.

BUT the only money I spend is on healthy food, Gym membership and regular bills.
I don't believe in *expensive or *designer products and now I'm in my mid 40's, I already have all the clothes and "stuff" I want.  :)

*Haha, just noticed my Avatar!  ;D

My 'luxuries' are books, cigarettes and make up/ cosmetics.

Seraphine, I know it's tough, but try and give up smoking. It's so expensive, and ultimately damaging to your looks as well as your health (obviously). The younger you are when you stop, the better!

I wish I had a cheaper habit, my habit is etsy haha. Etsy spoils your mind, when you need an everyday item you think to yourself ok but can i find a WAY COOL version of this and just take another client ::) i'm sure I can cut that out at least

I'm horrible. I spend my money stupidly. bought a ?400 treadmill I only used it 5 times and its now a clothes dryer spent ?800 on wigs that are stashed away in a bin bag under the bed. what i really want is to buy nice clothes and shoes cuz I want to look good lol.  I need a stylist i really dont know how to shop for nice things :-[ I'm saving for a  rhinoplasty and thread vein removal; and a flat so need to be careful with the spending. Plus I'm paying for my acting/singing and piano lessons. with the money I make (Which aint a huge amount) I feel as though I have nothing to show for it. all wasted I need serious help.

I'm a shopping addict too. Only way I can put money aside is to set up standing orders to my saving account and view them as bills. That way at least some money goes towards the future/deposit fund.

Had a financial year from hell which has scared me into sorting my self out a little I no longer eat out everyday, I'm doing my own hair (extentions aside), beauty treatments at home mostly. Saves me a few 100 a month.  Unfortunately I know I can earn more and keep going on holidays, buying bikes, spa days, groupons etc. I wish there was a way to stop wanting relaxing nice things.... can't help but think of all the money I've spent on crap because "I can always earn more" probably would have bought me a little flat to rent out by now... I'm getting to the point I may ask the bank to block my card for amazon, not on the high street, etsy, and sales sites....

You can block those sites off your internet, my boyfriend blocked all amazon, etsy, ebay for a while but then I was getting demotivated with work so he unblocked them plus he's a pushover so I could easily get him to lift the blocks on occasions.  :-\

I have the opposite problem. I feel guilty spending money and I stress as soon as my "to spend" cash drops below a certain level - even though I have a sizeable savings buffer. It's so bad I hardly buy meat and treats because I cannot justify the per KG price to myself.

Anyone want some of my money paranoia, so we can meet in the middle with a healthier attitude? >.>
