Tide business accounts
« on: 07 October 2021, 05:58:57 pm »
Hello everyone.

Would just like to warn ladies about Tide accounts. My account was running like clock work until I got my aw web cam credits changed to pay into this Tide account. I have just received the following message :-

We have completed a full review of your account and regrettably we are no longer able to offer you our services.

Tide specialises in providing current accounts to small business owners in a variety of industries, however there are some businesses we can't support at this stage in our journey.

As we develop our banking platform we hope to be able to expand the range of companies we can support, but unfortunately at this time we will need to close your account.

We appreciate switching banking providers is inconvenient and so we would like to offer to keep your account active for 30 days starting from today. Please ensure to have transferred out all remaining funds by the 6th November 2021. After this time you will no longer be able to access your account. If there are remaining funds in your account after this date, we will need to make a transfer to a verified nominated bank account.

Thank you for your understanding.

I think the account will be ok to receive deposits from clients but definitely not when linked to adultwork. I really hope for us all that nat west and other banks to not follow suit or I would have to stop web camming altogether.

You can get credits as cash at a post office. That’s how I’ve done it for a little while now,
They can do cash or put it on your card, I think(!?) it comes up as post office on the statement. Nothing about adultwork.

So annoying for you though! Hope you can find a way to work with it x

I get daily pay helping to pay my hotels as I tour 4 days a week. I will be ok as long as my current account doesn’t block aw as well. I wonder if all banks are going to go the same way and ban any kind of adult sights paying into your account. Only time will tell.

Is Tide one of these new start ups, who aren't as regulated as the others, and have a tendency to close accounts quickly?

I use Cashplus online banking and my entire living is from cam and OF, so I’m transferring large regular sums. Never tell any bank exactly what you’re doing as almost all are anti “adult” .

I declared my area of business as “information (joi 🤣) and communication (chatting on cam and Onlyfans 🤣) and I’ve been fine.

It's obviously a monumental pain in the arse, but it's not a secret.

I don’t register my business accounts as an escort. The web cam money going in from adultwork gave it away. Bad times. I’m considering taking off daily pay and collecting at the post office. If this happened to my nat west it would affect me getting future mortgages and I’m not having that. Also going to cancel only fans. I feel like all banks are going to follow suit. Only time will tell.

Gutted for you.
I have never received money from adultwork I dont webcam, but when I first signed up to the site I used to pay for credits from my natwest account for a few months. From that point on they were tripping over themselves to offer me mortgages and credit cards and still are. Probably cos that is when my account balance started going up but still it takes the piss, I couldn't even get an overdraft when I was a stoney broke student.
