Emily, did you take two packs without a break? If so did you had any bleeding?
I'm currently on my third pack without a break. Presumably, I'm about to spontaneously combust!
But touch wood, no spotting yet. We'll see though after my break during my next 3-pack run.
I'm in my early 20s and have always had a long cycle with not-heavy and not-light periods (average? If any period can ever be considered average? We are all so different!) and no problems with Ovranette - I only changed to Microgynon cos I saw a new GP who said Microgynon was the most common. No other advice which is fairly typical! I have a friend who saw a private doctor for ladybits checkups and she was the first person to tell me about Qlara (might be spelled wrong?) apparently a more 'natural' form of the hormones in the regular two-hormone pill. I'm interested in going on that and read about it in a magazine at the hairdressers yesterday! I'm worried that my GP is going to give me that "You Are A Hysterical Patient Without Any Illnesses So Please Be Quiet" look and sigh and ask me why I even want to change and then I'll feel like I've wasted NHS time and will slope out with issues unresolved.
This is even more of a tangent - does anyone here see a private doctor for lady stuff? And/or STI checks? I feel like I could bother a doctor for hours/months with all my questions and alternative-pill-trials that I want to do (although probably shouldn't because if it ain't broke don't fix it - a medical motto I have trouble sticking to) and maybe shouldn't honestly be using my GP for all this as she's always really busy and looks moments away from a mental breakdown. Plus, I'm a healthy-ish young person so don't have high priority needs, just stuff that bugs me! But are private doctors in some way... unscrupulous? Or have I just gotten that impression due to having a socialist dad?
