I'm Not a Timewaster
« on: 12 March 2025, 02:02:37 pm »
Anyone else find men who say this are indeed a 100% of a timewaster or is it just me?

10 years in I've yet to come across one person who is indeed genuine after saying they're not a timewaster.
These days there are no Prince Charmings. A girl just has to be her own hero

I haven't had one say it in years I don't think, but I'd imagine they'd have given themselves away long before it getting to that (I want to book for five hours and probably will every week even though I've never seen you before! etc etc  ::))

The more irritating one for me is 'You'll like me I'm a great/really easy client!' That's for me to decide, cuntychops.

I'm genuine
I will be there
I will be there 100%
I do what I say I was in xyz important job

A timewaster will say exactly the same things.

The only way I know a client is genuine is when they go ahead and turn up.

Based on 17+ years of experience.

Similar with discretion, people who say they are discrete often have been the most indiscrete.

For me it’s ‘I want to make this a regular thing’ before ever meeting me.
Don’t think a single booking ever materialised after someone’d said that.

For a long time it was people who didn't say this who became regulars, those who did never did - this has however changed recently but that's after a lot of years. I suspect I have worked through many who thought it might somehow gain them a better service (or that they'd receive less favour if they didn't say it).

Usually respond to one text, and give my phone number for booking.

I must have several hundred AW emails in my in box, you soon learn coping strategies.

I had one yesterday,  tidy conversation by message and agreed to confirm when he knew which date next week he wanted. Then out of the blue he sent me a full on face picture,  just incase I wast his cup of tea  :FF

That one's right up there 'you'll enjoy it so much you won't feel like you're working!'* The normal, pleasant punters that time genuinely flies with just never say stupid shit like this?
