Hi

I find this topic interesting as I have always managed to keep a normal job whilst doing this, even when I worked for an agency. I have always tried not to put all my eggs in one basket just in case something goes wrong. It is hard to juggle sometimes as you can guarantee the day you got to work in Tescos(I don't) or wherever, suddenly all your clients appear asking if your around.

However sometimes I find myself weighing up and comparing my jobs when I get fed up with one or the other and start to image life without  one of them.
The trouble is now I have a taste for the freedom escorting gives me, I feel spoilt! I think I would find it hard to give up knowing I could do it anywhere anytime. It would take something like winning the lottery or a really handsome rich guy to whisk me off my feet for me to quit, and as it seems like none of that is going to happen anytime soon I'm resigned to keep juggling. I am planning to study though although it's all time consuming.

I will probably keep going at it until I've got boobs to my knees and need a walking stick, but then there is probably a market and clientele for that too!

I'd never be able to work 9-5 again :( Although I'm glad I have in the past, because when I start to take the money from escorting for granted and get lazy, I think to myself I used to get paid ?6 an hour and now get ?140 an hour!! Although I will go back to a 'normal' job eventually I think, but only as my own boss with my own business or as a freelance worker.

I like being self-employed, but haven't a clue how things will pan out in the future.

Omg I think about this everyday. I dont ever want to go back to being employed. Even if I did I know I would still escort on the side. I'm supposed to be going back to uni this September and I was really thinking if I really wanted to do it? But as I got into this with the aim of getting into higher education..I'm going.
But deep down I don't think I want to as if I put my mind to it everything I want to achieve ie financial security I could do by doing this. A postgraduate degree is another very expensive piece of paper   :-\
So, what she done said was that happy hoes ain’t hating and hating hoes ain’t happy.

Sometimes i feel frustrated at this job
I love what i do. I'm at uni supposedly studying for a direct career of what i've always wanted and now i am not far off qualifying and all i can think is how i don't want to give up escorting. After all i've worked for and i just don't care anymore. I just want to escort.
I feel frustrated because of that.

I have been escorting for nearly a year (on and off) and I'm also self-employed in 2 other industries

I have recently updated my CV and been looking for a "normal job" all throughout July, have been invited to 5 interviews and offered 3 jobs - all of which I turned down - because the money was nowhere near as good as escorting.

The money can be very addictive, its what keep drawing me back to keep doing it, but will have to start thinking about saving for a pension soon, still got a good 30 years left in me, but still, will have to get ealistic at some point xx

No - I'm doing this since over a year on and off, often thinking about getting a part time job next to university and giving up escorting due relationship, the whole secret about having a different job as others etc. but than I look for jobs and feel like "no never, no travels, no shopping, no fun weekends I can effort with that money. I think I will be escorting for a bit longer at least until I seen the rest of the world I haven't seen so far.

I work full time and I hate it. I just sit at my desk dreaming of escorting full time instead of working for 7 quid an hour!  ::)

I first started escorting because I couldn't get a normal job. I had very bad depression so I didn't finish school and was too emotionally messed up to get a job. My options were babysitting, escorting or the dole.

I'm now looking for my first proper job and it's terrifying, but wish me luck for my interview on Wednesday!

I do both too. What I like about it is that those two lines of work entirely fulfill my needs in term of personal development.

The regular one :
- Team work
- A bound to the regular world
- Shark teeth (businesswisely)
- Clear view on the economic climate

Escorting :
- Full independance
- Being entirely myself
- Helping people feel better
- Satisfying my two beloved vices

The problem would be to stop one of both. It's now question of balance for me.

As for the money side, I don't really care as long as I like the work. I don't need a lot of money to live and am now free of debt.
