Txt Offerings....
« on: 06 March 2014, 12:56:01 pm »
I not long received a text offering apartments in Belfast and in the republic for 150 a day. He told me it is 7 star blah blah blah. Then gave me references.  I tour for a week at a time so worked it out it would cost me 900 euro's for the week vs 350 euro I pay already for the week. He kept going on about how luxury the apartments are. To be honest all on my mind when touring is making money. As longs as it is reasonable comfort warm and clean. What more is there to have. He had the cheek to wish me luck like it is needed. I am weary of renting from men.

These sort of offerings really are annoying.

I used to rent from a man in Ireland who charged ?120 a day and I was there for 2 weeks every month at least UNTIL he chucked me out randomly at midnight on a Wednesday nite in the middle of a storm because I asked him to stop sending me inappropriate messages, I told him loads of times but the last time I was very firm and snappy with him so at this point he obviously realised that it just wasn't gonna happen with me. He wanted me to party with him (drink and take coke as well as mix with other escorts) and have sex with him, no idea how many times I told him that I wasn't like that. So many of the other girls he rented to were actually into this kinda lifestyle but its not for me. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs and I like to keep myself to myself nor do I think its appropriate that my landlord was wanting/trying to have sex with me. I told him that I pay him good money to rent his apartments so could he please just leave me alone, he backed off for a couple of weeks then stared up again. I only put up with him for so long being a total creep because I had no other contacts in Ireland and his apartments were stunning and very comfortable. When he put me out in the middle of the nite he went on to blackmail me for the best part of a year saying that he would have someone book me and beat me up and take all my money so I always worked in hotels after that, I was robbed once in Belfast but wasn't beat up, I just got a slap so I don't think they are connected. Then the blackmailing stopped but he did tell me that he'd sort me out when I was least expecting it  :-\

So moral of the story is, I am wary of renting from men too. I never rent from men, Obviously they aren't all total bastards like this but I am not putting myself into the position to find out the hard way again so I only use hotels or rent from women or other escorts now.

This is my biggest concern renting from men. As some the majority expect their sexual needs are covered after renting out apartments. Despite the fact that money was paid for it. Men think about their cock all the time where woman tend to be more productive. This is why will only rent from females other escorts have rented from as a reference.  Not only that but heard about some escorts get robbed by the landlord while touring in the republic and trafficking. This makes me even more cautious. As the wrong move can be devastating. My way of thinking this is how easy it is for a pimp to get hold. Make a booking clearing all the checks. Then hold a gun to force to work for him. That will be it.

Personally I wouldn't work from an apartment in Ireland whether that's the north or the republic unless you have a full time flat mate working with you, its too dangerous xx

Yes it is two rooms rented out usually in the apartments. My last in Cork had a TS there. After explaining that don't work late for safety reasons he inspired me to. As he said he will look after me if any trouble. Usually though aim to finish at a reasonable time while touring.

Yes I see here is a lot more different history life with the groups and reoccurring riots. About a month ago a car was packed and told to drive to the house of Fraser not to stop or the bomb will detonate. But in the end he ran opposite the police station alerted them. The section was all closed off. I heard about this as don't watch the news here. If so no wonder some are scared to leave their home. My outlook is to not think about it living in peace. I like it here a lot and relax most of the time. Time wasters cause me more stress than other.
The incall secure apartment makes me feel a lot safer.

It is only the odd blips a reminder who really is in control.

I don't work past 10pm whether I am on tour or whether I am at home as the crazies come out to play late at nite and I would rather avoid all that plus I like to be up and ready reasonably early for work the next day. I think if you were to work late at nite and through the nite then you would spend all day in bed and that's definitely not for me x

Horrendous story. My policy is never to rent from someone who knows what you're doing. That applies to men or women. They always try and jump on the bandwagon.

To offer another side, I rent a one bed apartment from a man and he knows what I do (he only rents day by day to working girls). I only book a few days a month and other girls fill up the other dates.

He's a lovely guy, always keeping it topped up with supplies if needed. I just pay for the days I want and he leaves me to it. I only see him to collect keys and pay rent etc.

He did ask if he could do a booking with me but he said he would understand if I wanted to keep things seperate, which I do and he was absolutely fine with it.

Very rare situation but it can happen! I found his advert on aw actually and he emailed me before I had chance to get in touch.
If it seems too good to be true....it probably is.

150 euro per day is a rip off.Maybe it was a going rate before recession, not sure about that, but now you can easily get a lovely apartment in ROI for up to 100 euro.

This is one of the reasons I always work from hotels! (unless it's another WGs apartment) It's just so much easier and there will always be one that's easy to work from wherever you are.
If anyone is blackmailing or threatening you, report them to the police straight away, or at least tell them you will! What they are doing is a crime, what you are doing is not!

Back on topic, I get these bizarre spammy texts every single time I go to Ireland (nowhere else) despite my ads saying I only work from hotels and for locations that I don't visit and don't mention in my ads. I had one the other day (supposedly) from a well reviewed lady there which was yet more of the wholesale cut and paste cobblers.

I can only think they must get some positive results from doing this or they wouldn't bother, but I can't imagine anybody actually agreeing to a: give somebody money and b: reveal where they were working to some total stranger who spams them by text? I just block the numbers and save under Spammer but do people really find places to work like this?

It seems an Irish thing more especially down the Republic. As if any apartment would be took up with a flimsy text offering. Just like similar dealt with clients who text. These apt offering are ignored completely. Where clients are politely encouraged to phone to inquire via text reply. Any more they text are ignored or sent the exact same text msg.

Apparently this is the way always has been down there. Imagine if letting agents let property's this way. It is total nonsense text offerings. I put them in the time waster category straight away. As cannot screen a text. Plus any effort goes a long way in my book.
