Hi ladies,

I discovered this forum 2 or 3 nights ago and I'm so grateful to have found it!  I've been considering escort work on and off for the past 10 years! (I'm in my late 20's) I am so glad that I didn't start it back then.

Reading through the posts and topics on this forum have made me realise how naive I was about escorting back in my late teens/early 20's.

I've researched a lot over the years, but I've never come across such a range of information and tips, everyone seems so lovely here, with a genuine desire to help others like myself who are considering getting into the business.

There have been a few things stopping me from getting into the business over the years, mainly my concern for my safety and the fact that I am mixed race.  A few agencies I rang told me that I wouldn't get much work, nor would I be able to charge as much   shocking, right?

I've read the warnings section on the forum too, and it makes for pretty scary reading, but, its great that the network is here for tips and warnings about the nutters! 

I got caught up in the Secret Diary of a Call Girl 'fantasy'  of 5 star hotels in London and good looking wealthy businessmen type clients, but this forum bought be back to reality! An entertaining show, but quite irresponsible if you ask me!

Anyway, I'm 100% sure now that I would like to give escorting a go. I'm going to start independent and buddying up on tours.

There is no way I can tell any of my friends or family member, so I will be pestering asking you ladies for support and advice along the way!

Things can be good but things can be very bad imo. The levels of glamour are generally not as high as you'd think them and the money isn't always fab. Just things to bare in mind. Good luck though

I have only done a handful of escort bookings but looking to build a general client base.

I am a newbie when it comes to certain things but I have one question I would like some advice on even if it seems daft :-)

I guess more a general topic than question but I am really paranoid about walking into a hotel to someones room.  I try to get clients who want a meal or drinks first so as to physically walk into the hotel/place together but it is the hotel staff I am paranoid about and what to say if I am asked anything.  Not that I think I will gleefully scream Im a hooker! or anything like that lol

If you use the same hotels for outcalls over time do the staff mind> do you get odd looks? will anything happen illegally.

I can handle what I am doing emotionally however I am paranoid on the lobby and hotel issues :-) Please can I have some advice.  I do a lot of webcamming on adultwork so I find getting to know my clients is fine.

Carmen - if you pop something like "hotel outcall nervous" into the search form, you'll find quite a lot of threads discussing issues related to your question. Basically, we all get nervous, but none of us are doing anything illegal (agency owners are! But us actual sex workers are definitely not) so the best thing to do is dress in something sleek and dark, as though popping out for fancy drinks after work, and act completely natural.

I once strode through a hotel lobby, wondered why two random hotel employees were opening gawping, and then in the lift realised that my stocking-tops were showing under my dress. I was mortified at the time but now - who cares? Maybe I'm doing a sexy hooker-hotel roleplay with my real-life partner. Maybe I just like to wear stockings. Maybe I am an actual prostitute. None of those things are bad or illegal.

It's possible that a hotel will try to cause trouble but if you look like you could have been at work in what you're wearing, it's extremely unlikely. They just want things to look nice and normal - and honestly, from the stories of things I've heard about hotel cleaners finding in rooms after guests have left, if you're not doing a massive poo in the middle of the lobby, they'll be really very content.
